Good psychology is a very indicator of understanding and calming your mind before trading. But that is not it, you will need to have a very good management when it comes to risk and money so that you can minimize the losses and maximizing the profit. Also, a good strategy can sometimes fails due to volatility of the markets, but if you have been able to put in good use of money management, then it should be fine.

I guess you are implying that formulaes and calculation that are used in forex trading, which is useful but rather has very importance since the platform has already in built calculator that allows you to see profit or loss in each trade.

you can check myfxbook spread here: https://www.myfxbook.com/forex-broker-spreadsjust click regulated from 'all brokers' dropdown and tick commissions (for spreads and commission combined), and filter on any pair you want to see lowest. you'll see fxview, tickmill competing to be on top in most pairs. I mostly use that page to check the spreads.
