EUR/USD

The pair might move to the downside again but with the way things are going that will probably happen after the end of the holidays. Until then we'll probably see just range.

1.0800 proved too strong a support for it to break below this week, but I think next week we'll see a further move to the downside towards 1.0785, perhaps even 1.0700.

If one thing became certain after the fundamentals last night that is EUR/USD will likely continue falling. It broke below the support at 1.0845 and I think it will continue moving to the downside at least until it reaches the next level of support at 1.0785.

veryone are waiting for the FOMC interest rate statement and Yellen's press-conference. I don't think there's any point to try and trade EUR/USD before those events, but afterwards the market will go wild.

EUR/USD formed a doji candlestick on the four-hour time frame below the resistance at 1.1040 and moved to the downside, reaching 1.0900 again. If it bounces off that support it will likely head for 1.1000 again, but if it breaks below that level it will probably fall towards 1.0800.

I expect the next two days to be quite slow for EUR/USD while everyone are waiting for the FED to make their rate decision announcement. The pair might fall to 1.0900 or test the resistance at 1.1040 but either way range will probably continue.

EUR/USD failed to break above 1.1040 again and I doubt it will succeed in doing that before the market closes today. Either way, all eyes will be on FED next week waiting for their rate decision announcement and until then nothing is certain.

The pair did almost reach 1.1050 and bounced off that resistance. I think the move to the downside will continue at least until it reaches the next support which is at 1.0910.

EUR/USD is still testing the resistance at 1.0980. It's possible it will form a double top here and move to the downside again, or if it breaks above that level it will continue climbing towards 1.1050 - 1.1100.

The pair has been consolidating all day but I noticed that it also formed a hammer candlestick above the support at 1.0800 on the daily time-frame which is another indication that we should probably expect a move to the upside towards 1.0900.

The pair formed a doji candlestick on the four-hour time-frame above the support at 1.0800, so we might see another move to the upside towards 1.0900.

If the move to the upside continues it may reach 1.1050, perhaps even 1.1100.

I thought so too, but the fundamentals today pushed EUR/USD up and it reached the resistance at 1.0890. It's possible the pair might reach 1.1000 again depending on the results of the NFP tomorrow.

I don't think it will break below the support at 1.0550 before the ECB press-conference tomorrow.

EUR/USD bounced off the support at 1.0560 and moved to the upside. I think it will climb towards the resistance at 1.0690 - 1.0700 at most before it falls again.

A further move to the downside is inevitable, but range may continue until the ECB press-conference or the US change in Non-farm Payrolls later this week.

The move to the downside continues and I wouldn't be surprised if it reaches 1000.

EUR/USD is currently testing the support at 1.0565 but I doubt it will break below that level before the market closes today.

Yes, I doubt the tight 30-pips EUR/USD range will end before the end of the holidays. Next week however we'll probably see a move to the downside towards 1.0500.

A doji like this might be a signal for a bigger move to the upside, with target around the resistance at 1.0790 - 1.0800. That doesn't necessarily mean that the bearish trend is over, of course.
