You are not forced to gamble. You have to find good trade and add positions. You have to show trading. Go to top 10 profiles of this contest and learn something. All I read last few days is baby cry of those who burned accounts in previous and this contest and claiming now that trading demo competition is bullshit simply because their trading did not last more than 2 days.

some of these traders are doing really well off the go , thats good for them . this is also a great time to find a fund manager if you go through the profiles and select someone whos trading fits a style you are comfortable with . i am in the competition but i am not used to leveraging up so much because i manage real funds but i am up 65% on the contest account . find some good trades here on facebook.com/pendingentry

does anyone else realize that the first place spot belongs to a k0934030 , if you click on his profile . He has blown up 7 accounts and this is the only time he is actually doing good .. can anyone smell LUCK. its gong to be hard to know a real trader from a lucky one . check out my spot in the fidelis contest , and chek me out on facebook.com/pendingentry i give away signals on facebook and last month we gave away 434 pips for all out followers .

So far the contest is going great ... i have just got in ... no doubt certain traders are doing really great job ... however i will be more concerned with equity retention than expansion .... best wishes for all in the contest ... happy trading ...

All the good traders that have gained already up to 500% and plus pips, have all opened more than one demo contest accounts, so, they will be disqualified at the end of the contest. Dont be sad because you have a small gain and they have a much bigger ones. They will be disqualified at the end of the contest, dont be down on your self just because you are falling behind! concentrate on your own strategy and continue trading the way you know! when the time comes all these big gainers will be disqualified because of demo. on top of this, they are risky traders, so in the middle of months someone will get zeroed out.
Just concentrate on your own trading, a month is a long time, if you are consistent with your trading you can make it!

Chris, maybe you do not realize that he might found his way after 7 attempts mate. I can call it learning, too. I was looking into trades of top 10 and it has a smell of good entry, adding to winning positions, following own system, cutting losing positions in time, holding positions long enough to get maximum profit , not trading against the market. I do not smell LUCK. I see good trading. I might argue about drawdown, but as long as their equities are above 100% - I can only congratulate. My current rank is 56, I am perfectly OK with it, I trade this contest to see where can I get among 5500 contestants. My goal is first 50. Let`s trade more and promote less.
