Yes, it very well could... though perhaps an exaggerated leading indicator of risk appetite. There is a bubble of global liquidity that is searching for the easiest outlet... it seems to have found it now in ICOs and cryptocurrency.

Well, whether it’s a bubble or not Facebook decided to play it safe and banned the ads of cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, initial coin offerings (ICOs) and binary options across its network and partnering sites. There were a lot of scammers looking for gullible people on FB, I am not surprised they did this.
