Money management is one of those elements. And not we trade less when were down or more when were up, something a little more sophisticated, I posted a link to a very good example in a thread on MM somewhere here...

Money management is most definitely one of my most important elements. That's why I don't like the fact that FXCM advertise a minimum balance of US$2,000 (or equivalent) but recommend a balance of US$10,000. They know that someone depositing only US$2,000 is going to get wiped out in a short space of time. It's criminal. Even $10,000 isn't much if someone goes and loads up 20 systems like you 😀 If they accept minimum balances of US$2,000 then they should be offering micro lots imo.

Anyway, ain't nothin' going on but the rent on my platform. Still waiting for some more trades to be initiated. Looks like risk is off today. If we hit the highs of the week yesterday, then it could be all downhill from here till the end of the week.

Patience,

I gave up. Haven't checked. I reset my cookies and the automatic log-in disappeared and it was just to much hassle to look for the password. I lost interest. It's pretty much not a viable proposition on any level.

Been having a running battle with my own code. A fight I'm winning line-by-line. Bit stupid to engage in a battle of wills with a computer, but I have it surrounded...

Oh, that's a shame. Would have been good to compare results/systems etc. If I went flat as of now, account would have made nearly $600.00. Been running since 6 July. I've got 10 systems running on it now as there weren't enough trades being generated for me so I added some high trade systems to see how long it takes to decimate the account - lol. I've realised I'm a control freak as I kept controlling the trades so I am now trying my best not to interfere with them and just let them do their own thing even if I don't like the look of the trades being made.

No, don't worry about digging out your password. I'm just interested to see how it works out. Don't worry - I'm not about to stick any hard earned money with it 😀 I'll just keep plodding along with my low leverage manual trades generating low percentage results (rofl)

Okay, demo account has expired. I didn't realise it was only for 30 days so I didn't get the chance to see the account decimated 😁 If I had gone flat yesterday, profit made on NZ$20,000 would have been about NZ$500.00. The systems seem to do what most traders do - take lots of small profits and let the losers run and run till they are stopped out (some with 300 pip stops).

Personally, I would have liked to have tested it for longer (at least 3 months). You can, of course, open another demo account if you email them.
