Yes, trading both. NY is an art form I've just about got figured out. It's REALLY all about time of day in the NY Forex session. First, at 7:00-7:30AM NY you typically get an entry.. then again maybe after 8:30 News.. then, you wait till AFTER the stock market open (Otherwise price action can change rapidly), then around 9:45-9:52ish NY you look for the other entry. Then again around 10:30 you get another spot entry.. then of course the London close profit taking.
I'm all about this next week and will update you on it. There are certain times earlier in the NY session to be "more aggressive" and so forth. Really you don't need any FX if you can trade oil, but I will be doing both.

Yes, you are right. But I am not into FX. It is perfectly possible to have nice results by trading only 1 instrument. There are guys in pits of New York and Chicago that trade only one thing all their lives. You practically become an expert and guy feel for what is going develops. when too much instruments are being traded concentration is not there and nothing is learned deeply. especially with my aggressive persona it is better to stay with one instrument/ market. Oil as I see it nicely correlated with S&P500 which is also on my screen.

I wanted to connect this account again to myfxbook, however, FXPrimus sent emails a couple of weeks ago to download another platform. I put logging details on paper and logged in once I downloaded new platform and then threw paper away.
Now I wanted to reconnect account to check on pip count and Sharpe but it appears that on this new platform there is no Registration letter. I contacted FXPrimus asking them for investor password, but because I set some BS personal info for demo account and do not remember it they told me sorry we cannot help you as you cannot pass identification.
I cannot see those on MT4 statement. Probably Excel could help?

Took nice long trade on demo as I do not trade live this this time. 50 pips with risk of 34 pips. account is 62% now. I am calculating from the start balance of $5 000 000. Next month will start compounding and and calculate returns from the month's end balance. Will start also compound on live account depends of course on how I end the month.

Thanks, yes I noticed this morning when I got to the charts it was frozen, then around London open started moving again. That is not good. I have noticed it before as well as it taking a long time to execute at times. I have them in my eye now. Are you saying you had a pending order in that did not execute? If price gapped it wouldn't, they should be able to help you out I would think.

No, I shorted cause there was a short signal. but while I was sitting duck there was a long signal as PP was broken in another direction., I would close and reverse. instead entered 30 pips higher than should. traded back, but it really not good. i do not remember any similar issues with E/U, it was working fine, but oil not.

Oh, I don't know if they will help you out based on what you would have done. Had you been in a trade, or had a pending order though it might be different. Perhaps a sorry is all you will get concerning this case.
