I am glad you guys did not loose your money.
Once I wrote here that RVD markets is strange company and everyone persuaded me that it is reputable broker.
I did fund account and couple months ago they declared bankruptcy.
Still waiting for my funds...

I understood that there were only 2 brokers affected by the chf disaster to the point where their existence was in jeopardy. Those were Alpari UK and FXMC USA. I think every broker was affected one way or another.

Well there were manybrokers affected by Swiss bullet.
On the other hand they should have invest some of their profit into security.
Also the strange thing was that any good broker just allows you to withdraw back to your own bank account.

(NYSE:FXCM) ("FXCM" or "the Company"), a leading online provider of foreign exchange (FX) trading and related services, today announced that it was the victim of a criminal cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to customer information. At this time FXCM has identified a small number of unauthorized wire transfers from customer accounts; however, all funds have been returned to the appropriate accounts and the customers have been contacted.
FXCM received an email from a hacker claiming to have unlawful access to customer information. FXCM immediately notified the FBI of this threat and is cooperating with the FBI's investigation. FXCM also immediately launched a full investigation, working with a leading cybersecurity firm, to investigate the cybersecurity incident and protect customer information. FXCM, along with the leading cybersecurity firm, is conducting an extensive forensic investigation to determine the scope of the incident and identify affected customers. Affected customers will be notified.

Can you explain how someone is able to withdraw money to someone else bank account? I though any broker just allow withdrawal to the original account owner.

Indeed... Its against money laudering rules to enable a tranfer to a third party...
