How did the gold traders out there fare with the interest rate rise?
I was in a short silver trade 8 or so hours before and closed at profit before the price came back up - phew.
Then this morning after the decision and the hammering down I got a long gold trade in and just closed.
It was an obvious over-reaction and am sure some traders out there would have made a heck of a lot from that trade.
In a way I regret not trading it, however it was 3am in the morning my time (Perth, Western Australia).

Dear Noor Kausar,

You appeal to this given your experience.
Why do not you show us some of what you've learned about it?
It is experience that can serve many.

@togr i dont like talking giving answers to ppl whom their parents havent taught giving respect and gaining respect, no body is enforcing you to listen , it was bought s.l 1149 then it went up closed above 1157 and then it went all the way to the 1165/1166 same as i said, it didnt closed above 1170 that's why it fell all the way down , A demo account is used for results , While a live account has a privacy , only fools may upload their live accounts here, thankyou!

@camerongill whatsap me 923335242195 at times i dont come here , i have to take classes in universty , now 1119/118 is a strong support buy it , but not for a long term , some of my maths equations saying closing of 2016 might be 1105 thats why i am waiting for a close price of the year , Talking fundamentals , rate hikes happened as expected , now u.s is in real trouble they can not afford rate hikes they have to insert a series of hikes or they have to decrease it they can not keep this value constant , lets create two equations X1 and X2
X1= rates remain higher at this value , while The incoming data is not green but red
x2= reaction of japs , eu, uk rates which is for sure more negative and rate cuts
assuming 1 if rates remain higher , data is negative like nfp , afp , unemployment , inflation etc , impact of this equation on market
and impact of second , all you have to do is to now watch for negative data , ( a series of negative data , remember the down leg of usdx will be faster then this up leg as rates are higher , opposite to it you can understand better

a strong sideway is in play now , (1135/1143).... (1116-1085,)
My short positions on gold opened 2 days ago so far are doing quite well 😄 Seems like the xauusd price is in a strong bearish direction. Could be good opportunity to earn 😄

Mate, I cannot see that trade on my charts.
All I can see is a short term bullish +sideways movement for the moment.
Don't want to look any further into the future than that!
cheers

I have just opened a SELL trade here for 120 pips TP with 30 pips SL. That means; it’s about 1:4 ratio, really impressive! According to daily and H4 time frame I have opened this trade! No doubt, gold trading is much profitable rather than general currency trading! Besides, I am also interested on silver metal!
To change your trading result, just change your thinking.

What I understand is that you do not dare to trade with gold, you prefer only general currency?

Dec 19 2016 at 15:08
@PriceAction13 I agree with you, definitely the gold trade is profitable and very good 😄

Dec 19 2016 at 15:57
@PriceAction13 what I like to trade gold is its high liquidity, and that can be transformed into virtually any currency quite easily

Dec 19 2016 at 15:57
Although gold is quite dynamic. 😁
