PROBLEM IN MIGRATING TO NEW VPS

I was trying to change VPS company; and had set up the EA by loading the same preset files from previous VPS to the new VPS; I had expected EA to continue to monitor the existing open trades with the same magics but new trades with same magics were open; I immediately disabled EA and closed the new open trade manually.
I had closed old MT4(build 509) on old VPS and set up the EA on new VPS with MT4 (build 610); EA immediately open new trades with same magics instead of monitoring existing open trades accordingly.
I had done this before without any problems when I changed VPS but then both MT4 in new and old VPS were of the same version and build ; this time I encountered problem.
Could it be that EA is not able to work properly because previous open trades were done on MT4 build 509 while the new setup was on MT4 build 610?
Can anyone with a solution help me with my problem? Thanks.

It seems like that.
The best way would be to wait untill all your current trades are closed. Then you can switch to your New VPS and new Build.
