Seriously.. this is a real account which is why it's fully verified and not manipulated. I trade a portfolio of trading systems and this one popped up amazing in the backtests so I decided to go live with a small account $500 to see if it could be and these are the live results. I'm not selling anything, this isn't even my system, just one that I bought.

Check the second trade he took. It closed for 6.4 pips which was 4.45% profit. The trade was 73 pips down at some point which means it was down over 50%. He added the account on myfxbook on September 19, this trade happened 2 weeks earlier and was opened for almost 2 days. Apparently myfxbook did not record the DD that happened during that time. Thats why the results are manipulated. There were other trades that were down over 20 pips at some point which would mean 15% or more DD but myfxbook diid not record the DD on those trades as well. My guess is this guy disconnects the account during the times when his trades are opened and updates it when they are already closed. Thats how he can manipulate the DD.

Your trading system use high risk money management for higher return so this account will not survive long if you use similar risk.
The market will trade through it’s path of least resistance .

my best guess would be
1 open a position
2 immediately disconnect the Myfxbook EA / publisher (whichever you use .. )
3 burn a few candles and say a couple of hail mary's to turn the trade into a 6 pip profit again
4 and turn in on again when the trade goes into profit ...
5 Close when 6+ pips are made ..
should the price drop below a certain point again .. revert back to step 2 :)
if his EA makes roughly 1% per pip then that 73pip DD should have given a bigger DD then 2.65%
So YES its fully verified , and NO the statements are not manipulated but myfxbook doesnt monitor in REAL time ..
AS i am writing this comment the update status is Updated:1 Hour ago
I dont know what the update frequency for the EA SHOULD be however
but to me its fishy, and his overleveraged account wont probably survive 3 months
if it does , my hats off to him ...

I got your point. It seems the account was in 345/500 DD.
But did you take in account there could be other open positions at the same time with such profit?

Nope there were no more trades. I am clueless. Perhaps @Ethan could answer that.

Well Why are you even look att the system. Risk is way to high and the account will blow soon or later....

I'm don't know what to say when people are saying that this is manipulated through disconnecting and connecting. I simply have connected this account to Myfxbook and let it run. We backtest hundreds of systems and this one generated amazing results, this live account we are running as the forward test to validate it and the results so far are matching what we saw. Yes it's possible it's not sustainable but this is part of the forward test.
This is all part of the process of going live... backtest --> demo --> small live test --> scale up. Everyone should do this as part of their due diligence and validation of a system success.
The backtest on 100% historical data I ran from 1st January 2018 to 27th August 2018 showed a total of 133 trades with no loss. However, you can see from the backtest results there is equity drawdown like all systems. The system is on a winning streak and I'm sure at some point it will come to an end.. however, I hope before that happens I'd have taken out what I initially put in and some more.

drawdown figures for myfxbook is its one major weakness.you could have a flash crash of many pips and not be detected.is because updates can be so far apart in time.sometimes many hours.a victim of its own success with thousands of accounts clogging server.so drawdown is calculated with some guess work using about 3 methods which you can look up on.still the best we have to measure the success of an account in performance. and bench mark for forex.

I can guarantee you that My Fx Book and even Meta Trader do not show the correct open trade draw down. The closed trade DD is fairly accurate but the open trade draw down is not even close.
Last year I was running a $10k live account and ended up with a -$3500 floating loss (35% open trade draw down) at one point, and My Fx Book only showed 18% DD. For myself closed trade DD is very important, but most people seem to ignore open trade DD which to me is even more important for blowing up any account.
That back test above does not show modelling quality, it only shows history quality which is not the same. I use Tick data Suite with tick data and get 99% modeling quality, which is pretty accurate but does not guarantee the same future results by any means.

You seem to never close bad trades. Your deposit on year ago is the same as current equity, so there is zero profit in 1 year. Whats the point?
