Hi Akmal, thanks for starting this discussion. I've some questions that need your feedback-
1. Have u ever gotten a margin call on your recommended settings of TP=4 and pipstep=5?
2. Do you shut off the ea during any particular market? I.e NY session? And what about during news releases?
3. If u restart MT4 when there are open trades, is ilan able to recognize the old trades?
4. Heard that version 1.7 is out. Any reason why u prefer 1.47?

1. Just now I have lost one of my account because today I changed the lot size to 0.02 (MC at 11.10 GMT Dec 9, 2011).
2. No, I run it 24 hour a day in a week.
3. Yes, Ilan is able to recognize all existing open positions.
4. Because I love it's crazy behaviors.

Do not repeat my fault this day. At 6 GMT to day (Friday) I wish to make withdrawal the balance at that time 1260.xx. Because I want to withdraw $300 so suddently I changed the lot size to 0.02. Three hours later at 9 GMT the balance had reached 1360.xx and I do not commit my wthdrawal yet because the price almost hit TP so I turn off the Experts Advisors, I thought after the chart clear I will do it, A few minutes later I saw it back and unfortunately it starting floating the price went up sharply untill my account mc at 11.10 GMT

A good start to trading. 2.7% return. I was up over 3% but I closed out manually and turned the EAs of - Its almost midnight and I want to go to bed. Usually I would let it run over night, but being Friday I wanted to stop it for the weekend. $270 in trading profit and $230 in cash rebates - double wammy!

Also, how much have u been starting each account with? Wonder how using standard lot 0.01 you are able to build up from $100 without getting MC.

any idea what the "money management" option is about? Does yours open 2-3 sets of the same trades? i find that quite worrying in my testing. wonder if its because i set money management = true

MM is just a formula to calculate the starting lot size.
if you set, Lots=0.01
MM=true ==> so, Lot=Account Balance x 0.00001
when result (Lot) is bigger than Lots, ea will use the result but if it's smaller than Lots, the ea will use Lots.
So, it is better to set MM=false (I think, and I always set it false myself).

what's your present pip step and tp. also quite curious to know your starting size. this is a very interesting martingale instead.

PipStep=5 and TP=4
But now, "100 cents only" use PipStep=30 and TP=10 just to reduce OP and to make "time spent" more than 7 minutes.

actually if anyone knows how to program in a trailing stop, this will be like million dollar pips EA except running round the clock.

If you want to try the trailing, just set the setting below:
UseTrailingStop = FALSE =====> change it to = TRUE
TrailStart = 13.0
TrailStop = 3.0
But I have never tested it, so if you think the result is better, don't forget to let us know.

Akmal, just wondering if the Ilan version you are using is called Ilan Trio 1.47T F ? All the settings options and things seem to be the same that you have, but just to check you know... And is the timeframe still M1?
Has anyone had the EA crash? I think I just had it happen. Couldn't open the properties and it didn't take any new trades so I had to remove the EA in Metatrader and re-apply it for EURUSD.

No, it is different. Ilan Trio 1.47T F is already modified and added with clock feature.
