sorry for replying you late, have been coming late recently , that reason i couldnt do so much trade in the contest.
i use a complex strategies, by combining all my learning in one template, and be practising it for years now........
this is my strategies.......
Complex Market view using combo strategies in one template:
1: Trend Line
2: support and resistance with daily pivot
3:Fibo trading
4:Crossover---EMA (144,169 and 12) and SMA(9 and 100)
5:Price action
6: Harmonic Trading and Pattern(SHS,FLAG,DOUBLE TOP E.T.C)
7:Special indicators
All combine in one chart using 1hr time frame major for entry and exit.

also, another major thing to make someone survive in fx trading is seek God guidiance, be discipline and not be greedy.

what a terrible mistake I made 😡😞 , i wanted to place a sell limit pending order of 100 lots on XAUUSD, I mistakenly placed a direct market execution. Am grateful to God that its reverse back , so have to accepts a little loss of 3 pips😄

Have been with myfxbook for long, just that i dont usually participate in te contest because of my shedule. I just decided to try my strategies on the competition and see how far i can go 😄.

well, this is a demo contest and no money risk attached. thats the reason for not using SL.
My normal SL on live account is 50 pips and TP is 50-100pips with small lot. most of the trade am placing in the contest is like scalping to me and not the real type of daily pips target. But realised that the contest is not about the amount of pips you are making but profit. is also the reason for using bigger lot of 50-100 lots.

little by little, a drop of water makes an ocean. Well, may be if I had waited, for most of the trade to hit TP, i would have been 6000% plus profit by now😁. but am not patient enough to risk that, cos am only available to trade London session twice in a week.

do You know of any contest where the amount of pips you are making counts and not the profit %age ?
anyway well done till now, and this with 2 days a week during London trading hours.
