Hi , is there any New Live Account for RFP GOLD Scalping 1.4 ? the new one has high DD (18%) and the old one EA version had very low DD and with higher Daily Profit. is it this EA completely changed to new one?

$500 account today hit 80% drawdown but luckily came out and made $20 profit. I’ll continue to let it run though. Hoping I don’t see 80% drawdown again. I will use $1000 for every 0.01 and see how it performs.

I’m not trading. I’m using RFPs products.. which are very good actually. Today’s results have been phenomenal. Low drawdown and consistent profits. Just need a higher balance to let or work. 

Apparently my lot sizes were too high for my balance after speaking to RFP. It was noted and will be considered going forward. 

you are very funny , he use an EA , it is not something regarding Profi and Not profi.

Can you please share , what was your lot size ? do you mean 80% DD of your Equity? which broker do you use ?

I was using 0.01 for every $1000 which was not good. I recommend people use $2000-$3000 for every 0.01 lot, you should be safer. The EA is very impressive. 

So I was running it in a $10k demo. @ 0.05 with a 50%DD and it got hit twice in the last crazy push up on gold . If I’d had it in 0.01 per $10k it would have survived it. 

With $10k I’d use 0.03 , but then again this is a very dangerous time to be trading. Gold is on the rise. 

It has high DD until 50% in Real Account, it is Not such as Last Version 

Running a demo account with $3000 on 0.01, Gold Dropped around $200 and my drawdown reached 60% (-$1,800) and currently floating at - $1,400. RFP recommend not to trade for a week. I feel like current market conditions isn’t good for RFP Gold. When gold stabilizes that’s when you should use this EA. This EA has incredible potential. 

the last version of RFP Gold was not Good and with High DD , somehow 236%

It has potential but like most grid systems they get hammered in a big push. I started with a 10k demo on 0.05 and it hits multiple winning trades a day but it hit max 60% DD so I dropped it to 0.01 and started again and just left it alone and it’s hit max 50% DD 3 more times. The last update was only on less than a day and it hit max DD but by then it was only on a $2.4k account so didn’t have much room to breathe. EU stable does ok though albeit only small %.

The new version of RFP Gold Scalper (V3.1) seems to be working much better than this version. I’m running it now and the max drawdown I’ve seen so far is only 11% in 2 weeks of using it. The new version doesn’t take a position on every candle, it more conservative. I’m running it on a real account right now. I’ll update as I go 

How are you hitting max DD on the new update? M15 cancels a lot of the noise from the XAUUSD market, the EA also doesn’t trade on high volume candles so you should be avoiding opening positions on volatile moments.
