I built this today to see how much slippage I have experienced in the last 400+ trades. A total of 46 pips. These results are only for the trades that begun using the Trailing Stops to exit the trades. I haven't implemented any code into the EA to measure real slippage yet. Work in progress

Slippage Report for trades with Trailing Stoploss

Buy Orders 251 with 111 pips of negative slippage
Sell Orders 195 with 91 pips of negative slippage.

Broker says Stoplosses that are submitted to broker server is just a trigger to send order close to ECN.
ECN price moves between this latency time. Why do I never experience positive slippage, broker doesn't respond. They recommend to use cTrader.

Any broker with positive slippage?

I have also included the Entry Price into the EA Comment field to compare with the opening price of market order, this is more proof of slippage on almost every order. E 1.0845 , SPR = spread at entry. M = Magic number

To be clear, I plan to raise this small account into the 10k range and start a MAM/PAMM at a different ECN broker that has positive slippage. I am still looking for the best liquidity and broker infrastructure for this selection as I don't want to jump around from broker to broker.

The Beta Stage are for all nationals, but the MAM will be limited to NON US citizens as most brokers do not accept them. I am sorry for these laws and I will offer a signal service for US participates. Unless we can find some decent brokers that accept USA.

Tradersway accepts all clients regardless of citizenship. US citizens have had a difficult time with the regulations in the forex industry over the years. This broker 'TradersWay' is the only high leverage brokerage that offers the cTrader platform and because of this platform( ctrader) I can only TRUST those who offer it as an alternative to MT4 ripoffware

I would also check out Global Prime I am finding I get both positive and negative slippage, very fast execution using a NY VPS. They also provide trade receipts for your trades to ensure that it goes through to their liquidity providers. I wouldn't trade with a non ASIC or UK regulated forex broker (FXPRO being a UK one -although ECN won't provide trade receipts, does have MT5, and also Ctrader). Good luck

Most good things are not free in life, but this system is through the beta stages.

@aeronthomas GP server located in NYC which is a shame. From my research many broker's liquidity source are from US banks. I still think most liquidity is from Uk and Europe but maybe this has changed.

I am curious if these broker's servers are located in NYC but their liquidity hub are located elsewhere and orders are routed across the Atlantic pipeline.

not sure about where most of their liquidity providers are located... they have ones like JP Morgan, but also European banks, but perhaps these European banks have servers in NY and UK anyway. IC Markets is also a decent broker from my experience, their fineprint spells out all orders sent to liquidity providers, their main server is also NYC.

Something has recently changed at traderway that has reduced spreads tremendously and now I am experiencing positive slippage. This is great news and at a perfect timing. I will run my slippage report at end of week.

I started to test on different currency pairs since the results have improved a lot lately

I've tested on FXCM and their feed won't work as good as other ECN brokers. At fxcm, their spreads are very unstable and I'll floow up with a blog post to document the misbehavior.

IC markets is working good despite the lost latency from operating from a London Based Server. Results would be better if trading at a NYC vps location. It would speed up the order routing by min 30-50ms. - https://www.myfxbook.com/members/RedRhinoLab/fx-viper-10x-icm/1294244

with IC Markets I believe you can choose which server to be on, mine is live04 and NYC based and my VPS is NYC also.

Aren't all the servers in NYC for ICM? I got email saying their cTrader Server was recently moved to NYC too ( I don't know the previous location). They say their ECN engine and banking liquidity are all in NY City.

I had a late start in July ( Missed some trading days in early July), Last week was quite slow and my adjustments has been on the conservative side going into the Greece Deadlines. Yesterday was the first decent momentum day and much profits were made. However, the profits were still conservative to the potential of the FX Viper EA.
