Is anyone trading with tighter stop losses to avoid this week big losses? or any backtest to see how will perform with this settings?

I'm contemplating backtesting a 200 pip stop loss. If you look at the charts in any of these backtests, a slight bit of headroom usually would have saved the day. Less headroom will result in more losing trades than currently seen. But you need some serious liquidity if playing with large lot sizes...

Yes, I trade with much less than 110 at the moment and so far so good.

Could you tell us what settings are you using?

And vortex likes to take out 2 trades, and 2 pairs, so what happens when 2 open on eur and 1 on gbp same time ... 9 Lots... 😭

maybe 3 MICRO LOTS ... 0.03 not 3.0 = 3 lots...

And vortex likes to take out 2 trades, and 2 pairs, so what happens when 2 open on eur and 1 on gbp same time ... 9 Lots... 😭

maybe 3 MICRO LOTS ... 0.03 not 3.0 = 3 lots...

nah bro, I dont trade GBPUSD only EURO 3 lots sometimes second one will open 1.88 plus the 3 lots. The way I look at is I am risking my account balance for x10 possible reward if I can get winning streak like vendor has. Im fine with taking a loss and trying again with another 1k until I get winning streak.

aahh ok cool... let us know how it goes, your account should be looking pretty good then, if you never hit those losses on thursday last week... hope you move your profits out of the account everytime you win,,,

yeah we will see, so far so good. I didnt get anything thursday? Not sure.. Im using pepperstone standard account which is normally gmt +2 just switched gmt+3

Don't be so frastrated, if you plan to trade forex for a long journey, this is a good lesson. You risk 16.5% per trade. Don't expect to become millionaire account within short time. 2-7 % month return is good enough for a fund manager.

I don't like guesses, I don't like maybes, if I'm going to trade

I have both running on same account.. (just got vortex today) takes trades at almost exactly the same time. Vortex did take an extra 10 pips.

Id like to see more money management options.. but have just calculated manually based on 110 pip SL.

My trades (broker fxchoice) aren't the same as this account. I had to two losses, and I had two eurusd trades open from Friday. Closed one today, one still open. And have one GBP trade open from today.
