Look at his history. There is an order for 10,000 lots . . . in what market, other than Demo, fantasy land could this be possible. A professional trader would have phased in the trade, in smaller lots. A single trade for 10,000 lots would have set up a huge spike that would have left you playing catch up for a long timen

his broker woiuld not accept a trade that size... you'd be lucky if most retail forex brokers handle 10,000 lots a day... or a week even.

you guys are beginner , you think a bank or broker cant handle a 10 k lots ? this is really funny however i just took 10 k lots 1 or 2 times , this isnt in my real trading strategy

Its not that they can't . . . it's that they Won't. From what I can tell, from a quick check, the max order For Admiral markets is 200 lots

So, Loser Tom, perhaps you could explain to everyone where, except fantasy, Demo land, could you place such a trade.

@Aplmustdie They actually can't. There's no liquidity, if you look at the order book for EURUSD or any other less liquid pair, you will see there is never 10 000 * 100 000 = 1 000 000 000 (1B) available.

A professional could dump 1B on the market however, there are services provided by brokers like LiquidNet, but it's not MT4 at all, it's voice brokerage, so you give your price, the guy on the phone shout it to other people around and try to get your price somewhere.

Even there, 1B would cost you between 10 and 15 pips, on EURUSD. On other pairs like USDCAD, it would probably cost you 50 to 90 pips.

The other problem is leverage... on a trade that size you'd work dam hard to find a broker that would do better than 10:1

Tommy's trades are market orders and while I agree with your analysis, a broker wouldn't require liquidity in this case. They would let the order slip until it was filled. They don't do this because nobody would use them. They limit the orders so their customers have a reasonable chance of filling at the quoted price, a choice, as max lot size varies by broker

Yeah that's pretty much what I said, if you had a limit order of 1B, it wouldn't get filled even at the time the price gets hit, because then your order book would'nt have 1B of liquidity.

@pt49 No professional is using more than 3:1 anyway. Technically, they can give you 100:1 leverage even if you have 1B because they slip you accordingly with the market's liquidity, so it's not really like they lend you money. 99% of the time, if you're leveraged more than 3:1 they don't even place your trades anyway

I am still amazed how many people display their fancy demo accounts here on MyFxBook... Like this one above.

I guess they must be living in a pink demo world full of demo mansions, demo Bentleys, demo yachts and demo model girlfirends... Just as 'Aplmudtdie' stated above.

On the other hand they would not even risk 50 USD of their real money on a REAL micro account to prove what they can do with real money.

Come on people! Grow up!!

Anyone can by a blowup demo girlfriend at the local toy shop, fxtom lives there
