I trade a pure discretionary price-action system where key horizontal levels form the backbone of every decision.
Key levels are identified primarily on the Daily (D1) timeframe to establish market structure. Local targets and confirmations come from the H1 timeframe. Entries require clear price reaction or breakout confirmation on lower timeframes (typically M5–M15).
Stops are placed directly behind the key level to respect structure and maintain tight risk. Take-profits target the next relevant key level, aiming for a favorable risk-reward ratio. I prioritize patience, avoid rushed entries, and manage trades manually when necessary (including early exits before high-impact news). Positions may be split or re-entered only when all predefined conditions are met.
No indicators are used only clean levels, raw price action, and session context. The approach emphasizes capital preservation and high-probability setups over trade frequency. Full trade journals with reasoning and Tradelytic reports are available on my Telegram channel (@jsvgoldtrading).
