The trouble with these 'account histories' is that there is no disclosure of open tradesDoes this have a fixed stop loss and if so how is it devised, ie; pips or % of capital?Looking at the big draw down amounts I'm suspecting huge stop losses so it hopes that the market will always reverse to the direction of your initial trade?Is it martingale? Does it double down?If it is in a losing trade will it allow more trades in the same currency in the same direction?what spread does it rely on to be profitable?

I have started getting junk mail for this one but my initial search for the MyFX account didn't turn anything up.So proud of their results that you can't go directly to myFX - just send you to their 'sign up for my spam' webpage. Always wary of that. :)

Hi DrewInteresting information.I don't know how the programming works, but, if you don't take the 1X trades then I would have assumed that it won't take a 3X trade, ie; If you ran it with "Auto trading" turned off or required confirmation then only took a non-1X trade then would not the next instance it finds be a 1X as it doesn't have to try and compensate for the current loss as it never toook the initial losing trade?

I kept following it until my u/n p/w stopped functioning just to see if the account would last. It had several pretty scary draw downs during that period.Strangely enough....when DP's next answer to Fx was released my old login died so maybe it was the support that stopped working rather than my p/w?Have you tried yours @flopps?If it still works I'd be interested to keep it going as by having the ea running forced me to watch the market more and look at what was happening. But your DD that you can handle (no figure/% given) could be different to another person - its a psychological thing.My demo is RL1 - and the DD went from its 'normal' 25% up to 50% for the past couple of days.Even for someone with a high risk tolerance I would imagine that is unacceptable - especially considering its just the beginning!

DOH - as soon as I saw FapTurbo on the list I nearly choked with laughter - FapTurbo is one of the biggest EA scams ever - those boys made millions selling that dud and are still selling it - LMAO

In some cases I guess people end up using these EA's because they can't find services/managed funds that can do any better.Personally I've lost over 70k in professional services and managed funds which is why I won't use them anymore.In 15 years I haven't been able to find a single person/fund/service able to make a profit - not just Dustin, but other known names like Jason Fielder, Greg Secker and on and on and on.....The quest continues for my own trading to get beyond 'neutral' which is still better than the huge losses that all the professionals I have followed ...

Interestingly - some time back I was having HUGE DD when no-one else was, in fact Dustin claimed to be 'flat', now I am having only average DD while everyone else is having huge DD - weird.I wonder though if that is because for some reason no new trades have been added since 01 FEb on my account......

Mines really cranking it up now - Acc1 - 48 trades open - (+)13.94% Closed Trades and (-)29% Open Trades (face value).Acc2 (now closed as that demo shut down) - 26 Open Trades - (+)10.78% Closed Trades (-)2.6% Open Trades (face value)Acc3 - 40 Open Trades - (+)10% Closed Trades (-)14% Open Trades (face value)no loss of connection since 1st week Nov (thought I'd better get in there before someone else offers it as a reason):)

Hi FugheYes, the "Swap" is adding up to be a real cost due to the length of the open trades.Regarding VPS - having tried a few (none of which you mention though likely to be same/similar) they all shut down at various times or reboot or maintenance or blackouts or whatever you want to call it.I think VPS with EA's is a must but ONLY as a backup to your real PC/Connection - not to be relied upon.They are essentially a UPS just not in your own trading room.Ditto!!!Wishing everyone a pip filled 2012 and beyond - I know mine will be........Onward & Upward...............

Ouch, a few hours....even in the land of VPS its not unusual to lose contact for a couple of hours. And yes, something along these lines did happen. I didn't catch it striaght away as another indicator had text written in the top left - it woudl be nice if programmers gave an option on where (or indeed if) to place data in the window :)Current (longest running account) is +14.54% Closed Trades versus -20.35% Open TradesHaving said that I'm still following it with interest. Its not exactly money I can afford to lose, but at this point I am considering that its all part of an educational...
