I too found it very hard to find an edge. But it can be done, once you find something that works, stick with it. Perfect it and focus on the best markets. I also only risk 1%

Scalping is only really an option if you have super low spreads and commissions

A lot of "reviews" like that are paid for or are affiliates driving sales. Best to look on myfxbook for good brokers and then do your own research into them

I tried silver once but I found that the spread was quite high with the broker that I use. I stick to gold now

me too. a lot of people say risk management is the reason but even wit the best risk management in the world you will still lose if you are taking the wrong trades

not all bonses are bad. Some times it is worth getting the bonus an then moving on to another broker

I have tried EAs and I have had a better outcome than ricki72 . Some are good some are bad but they are so easy to set up and use. I would just get a load of EA and run them on demo for a few months. You will soon find which ones work and which dont
