Hedging

To be honest I never understood the concept of hedging and how it works well for any trader. As per the concept, you place buy and sell order simultaneously on the same instrument with same lot size. You earn when one of your trades start going into profit. But the other one is surely going in losses. Yes, you surely earn from the difference from the magnitude of either direction, but their are spreads as well. So how does it actually work for a retail trader? I never understood this. Its such a vague strategy for me as per my past experience.

Use higher time frames to analyse the trends, and lower time frames to confirm the current direction. Basically, every time-frame is used differently depending upon the strategy. If you are planning with long term trades, then higher time frames is the best. On the other hand, scalpers usually prefer lower time frames.

There are 2 types of trading analysis. Fundamental Analysis Technical Analysis The fundamental analysis are focused on the fundamental factor that effects the price of the instruments. Every action that takes place in the economy in some or the other way effects the price movements. As per the DOW Theory, market discount everything on the charts, and studying these factors and analysing the trends is fundamental analysis. I agree with this point. yes, for sure trading on higher leverages is a risky game if you are an amateur and just started exploring the trading world. In this case, high leverage will surely blow up your account because you are unaware of how the market responds to economic indicators and other technical aspects. Thus, initially one must work on low leverage once you have gained enough confidence, you can surely opt for higher leverage. After all, who doesn't like bigger treats with less investment.

The best trading structure is based on the motive of your trading company. If your only motive is generating profit and forbidding any scope of losses, then its a very impractical agenda. Your must prepare your capital structure in a way that it is able to under take reasonable losses.

Greediness is awe full in any scenario. Money made with patience is worth the hard-work and remains with you for long. Even wehn it comes to trading, one should be wise and patient while placing trades. Profits and losses are both 2 sides of a coin. Its only with time that you understand what to trade, how to trade, how much to trades etc.

People loose money in forex when they become impatient and want to earn handsome profits all together. Forex trading or trading in general requires good experience, strategy to manage capital and risk involved. If a trader wants to gain from this market, he needs to place the lots size after determining its risk appetite. Just like the saying, "Slow and steady wins the race" is applicable in life, it is the key to forex trading as well.
