More currency pairs means more opportunities to trade, if you can deal with the multitasking.

A district court in Israel’s capital Tel Aviv has ruled in favor of the local forex broker USG Capital. It said algorithmic trading is not portfolio management and does not require additional license, reports the website Bizportal.co.il. Mostly, yes. Trying to achieve more than you are capable of achieving at the moment, due to lack of knowledge and experience, can only lead to losses.

I am pretty sure there are plenty of people out there who know these news before they are announced and they leak them to others who have an interest to start trading as early as possible.

Mind you, I am not against trading with many pairs at the same time, I think that if you take the time to study each and every pair you can probably be successful in trading them. I just thing it's not a good idea to just go into it with no preparation at all.

I don't know whether I'd call a demo acount "ideal" conditions - the market is the same when you trade on a demo account.

I agree, that is an absolute fantasy. If someone tries to trade like that their account would be gone in a few hours, rather than double in an hour, as they expect. Forex is like any other intellectual job - it requires a lot of knowledge and experience to do it well.

Ha, speaking of CySEC trying to regain people's trust in them: just last week they decided to toughen up their requirements about the binary options brokers they regulate, and the very same day they announced that the ombudsman of France’s financial regulator AMF released a report on the increasing number of complaints against Cyprus-regulated forex and binary options brokers (https://smnweekly.com/2016/04/14/cysec-tightens-rules-for-binary-options-brokers-while-france-reports-complaints-from-cyprus-regulated-brokers/). Were they trying to do damage control or was it pure coincidence...

I have very mixed feelings on expert advisors. On one hand I've seen people make excellent profit using them, on the other hand still feel very mistrustful. I don't like that something else makes my decisions for me.

I don't think I could ever treat demo exactly the way I treat the live account. Subconsciously I'd always know that I am not risking any money, so even if I were the trade in the exact same way (which I do) that added stress just wouldn't be there.

Indeed, especially if you make a mistake somewhere or if the plan itself is flawed. One should always take that into consideration too.

I did not express myself well, for which I apologize. I was referring to hiding income in an offshore account for the purposes of tax evasion, which I am pretty sure is illegal in many places, hence scandalous, especially when people find out that politicians are doing it.What is more, the same company has apparently been linked to financial entities funding terrorism and using the company to launder money to fund terrorism. Being even remotely related even by association to something like this can land a politician in an even bigger scandal than simply evading taxes.

True. The problem is that once lost, trader trust (or anyone's trust, really) is really hard to earn back, especially when money is involved.

Sometimes people consider it scandalous because in some countries moving your money in an offshore account is illegal. In other cases politicians - people who are supposed to be leading by example - are hiding their money away to avoid taxes. And then there's also the question about the origin of other people's money and whether or not they're not using said accounts to launder money they've profited from an illegal activity.I am far from the thought that all people with money in offshore accounts are doing something fishy or scandalous, but sometimes some people can be suspici...
