MDP works as it always did. It's plain stupid to call it "dead". The market moves are simply not as fast as MDP wants them. It's a robot that needs customization and this is what the user has to work on.

What do you people expect from MDP??? Market conditions are as they are right now! MDP works very fine like the day one. There is not very fast moving price retracements lately, that's all. You can always change the settings to behave for the market conditions right now. What are we missing? Retracements, that is. So we may enlarge the trailing SL/TP, right? It's risky but risk works both ways. The entry orders are OK, the problem is that SL is hit to early lately. So what can one do? Widden the trail. Do not let a robot do the work but work with it. There is a stop loss, it is programmed in the robot's engine. Its value is given by 20% of the volatility base measured for the last 50 15m's bars. The 20% and the number of bars can be customized in the advanced version.

I do not use compuforex or FGB anymore. If you want a small but assured profit, set the trail start at 10-25 pips, trail % at 50-75, trail min at 10%. Otherwise, use trail % ~90. Set the pips as for a 4 digits brocker. Use simple decay rate of 0.01-0.05, disable exponential mode. Decide for yourself if you want a wait time (in minutes) until the trailling will start when in profits, based on your experience with FGB.Attach the robot to a time frame of 15, 30 or 60 minutes, also based on experience or own preferences.

Making SL:0.3 and TP:0.7 gives much better results. Tested on live and tests.
