Wow! A bit negative. Yes false breakouts can be identified ahead of time when you consider the entire SHAPE of the market. Like we were in today. Sorry to have bothered you. Good luck with your chart of Italy!

We are in a strong Dollar environment but with little News out this is just a trappy market. Watch out for false breaks out where the big boys can get you upside down fast.

I learned to trade by taking an institutional trading coarse. While it's about 2 thousand dollars it was the best $ I have ever spent and that has to total about 20 thousand. It teaches you exactly how to trade like an institution. If anybody is interested then just send me a private message with your name and I will send you a link.Yes, I do get a free month with every referral just to be clear. You can see my track record as well and you'll see why it was worth it. Steve

CorrectIf you don't want the headache of trading then follow a proven track record, sit back and WAIT! (The last word is what most people have trouble with)

It's a shame that more people who actually have a published and verified track record are not willing to post. Even if they disagree with me. In this business you are only as good as your last months performance. For those new to this industry the hardest lesson to learn is filtering out the trash.

There is a trade management program I use called FX Synergy. Interfaces with Mt4 to automate a lot of mundane stuff. I only use about 10% of what it can do but love it.

I'ts not important weather they are number 1 but how long they will last. With a massive DD like theirs it's only time before they blow.Your better off sorting the Autotrade list by drawdown. While my system is ranked #22 it is 2nd on the DD list. No I don't make 10000% a day but I should be around for the next 20 years pumping out decent monthly gains.

Unfortunately this is another version of a martingale and I would urge extreme caution.

Hmmmm...... You post a screenshot of someones results. Typically you'd post a link that is in someway associated with you???? Let's assume for a second it's yours. It's less than 4 months old with massive draw-downs and looks incredibly like yet another Martingale/Grid/Next Big Blow up.Please stop wasting our time.

Everybody knows this. You are missing the point. It's price action in relation to increased activity and prices resulting action. Interesting how a review of all your post's shows nothing but antagonistic and badgering drivel. Stop bashing, put your track record online (don't see one in your profile) and actually contribute if you can. Otherwise find someone else to annoy and let those who need help learning ask their questions.

Late to the party and I still made 1% in 10 minutes. Keep reading and become a student of volume.http://www.myfxbook.com/files/sbnelson2005/ScreenShot102.pngVolume print is the brownish box dragged across chart. Massive price rejection with a close above at point 1. Sellers can't get any traction below. I would usually have gone long at point 2. as price closes above the volume print nicely. (I was away from the charts :(p...) The second opportunity to get in this trade that I took was as price breaks above the value area and has a low volume tap back to the top edge of value. Go long for ...

The reality is that they need liquidity to trade with the volume they have so they get a lot of it from the retail who doesn't know any better. That is why I'm a student of Volume and even then I'm only right 70% of the time.

I only started providing signals this year but I am currently performing within your criteria at less than a 7% DD:https://www.myfxbook.com/members/autotrade/bn-manual/1177355NOT a martingale (obviously) and NOT automated. US accounts OK

@remccloud24 That is a sure fire way to get whipsawed out of the market with a loss. The institutional bang both sides of the retail players in the market and blow your stops before ultimately moving the market where they want. I avoid NFP like the plague and usually all High impact news events. As a new trader I would recommend studying volume and price action. Stay away from the inicator junkies that riddle this marketplace.

Still Not convinced volume matters? See how the levels I posted are still relevant as price reacts to it after the China news event and then again hours later. Become a student of Volume.http://www.myfxbook.com/files/sbnelson2005/ScreenShot101.png

Volume has use on all time frames. On higher time frames it used to see major accumulation and distribution. I look at the daily charts, hourly but trade off the 5 minute since I'm monitoring my trades and usually don't trade outside any one session. If I have all the moon and stars aligned I will take a position trade and hold on during the week for that extra return.

Your abusive nature is contrary to what I'm trying to accomplish here. Every post of yours basically calls everyone else an idiot while your track record is less than a month old with absurd returns. Using massive leverage, IMHO will get your account blown. If that's how you choose to trade, fine. I wish you the best of luck. And while you are entitled to your opinion, I would suggest cutting out the abusive part of your posts. Any post that genuinely tries to help new traders learn is welcome. Antagonistic and abusive posts are not.

No your not missing anything. I was originally with FXDD until they got bought by FXCM. I lost all my trade history because they made us use their Mt4 platform. I put in a ticket with Myfxbook and FXCM but got nowhere. When I made the decision to try and become a signal provider around May of this year(never thought I'd get accepted), this account was already setup with Myfxbook. They have a long list of requirements and this account already met a lot of them. Go here and scroll down: http://www.myfxbook.com/autotrade/faq.As far as the track record is concerned, I was using this account as ...

http://www.myfxbook.com/files/sbnelson2005/ScreenShot100.pngI took this trade on Sunday night with light volume as usual and a few hours ahead of a high impact Chinese announcement. WHY would I do such a thing? To prove a point about volume and its significance. Look at the volume print during the market opening and how price reacts afterwords. Massive volume spikes and price can't go higher? When it comes back to that level on no volume and stops, I have a high probability trade short. I take an ultra safe stop above the swing high on Friday at the end of the day with a 2% risk. I would ...

The best example I can give you on what you have provided is the 1 HR chart. That High volume spike right in the middle, in fact the highest volume spike on the entire chart. Notice how the candle spiked and took out all the stops to the left just above the market and then price rejected and headed south. How do you think the big banks find enough liquidity to either change direction or add to an already winning trend? If you wanted to sell a 10,000 lot, where can you get that much action without massively spiking? To answer your question, Volume is always important. The difference is what is y...
