I think that EUR/USD might keep climbing until it reaches 1.2620, but the market is so uncertain at the moment that buying now would mean taking a considerable risk. Personally, I'd rather wait for a relatively reliable signal that the pair's descent is about to continue.

Although EUR/USD climbled to 1.2575 the hammer candlestick formed in the 4 hour filter chart was a clear indication that the move to the upside was only temporary. The downward trend continues and is likely headed for target 1.2330 for the moment.

The EUR/USD consolidation has continued for over a week now and it doesn't look like it will end today, so we may have to wait at least until Monday before we see any major change. That said, I think that it will likely continue descending once the consolidation ends and will reach at least 1.2200, perhaps even 1.2000.

It looks like range continues for EUR/USD. The market seems to be exceedingly calm today. I took a look at the economic callendar and it appears that it will stay that way at least until Friday.

The market seems relatively quiet today and EUR/USD is slowly crawling on its way down, although I think that for the moment that is just part of the correction. Once it breaks below the support at 1.2360 it will likely continue falling at least until it reaches 1.2200.

As usual the Non-Farm Payrolls had quite the effect on the market and provoked a lot of volatility. Whatever their effect I think the downward trend is as strong as ever and will reach 1.2200, perhaps even 1.2000.Have a great weekend, everyone!

The ECB Rate Decision comes out today and tomorrow we'll learn the change in the USD Non-Farm Payrolls. These events always provoke great volatility in the market but they are also an excellent opportunity for big profits. Good luck to everyone who are planning to trade when the news come out.

After the hammer candlestick in the EUR/USD daily filter chart I assumed it will reach at least 1.2600, perhaps even 1.2640, but that proved to be far too generous an assumption, as it couldn't even break above 1.2580 before falling again. On the other hand, it's currently testing support around 1.2450, so it might form a double bottom and move to the upside again. If it breaks below the support and the previous low around 1.2440 it will likely continue on its way down to 1.2200.

EUR/USD formed a hammer candlestick in the daily filter chart and started climbing. It appears that the current target is around 1.2640. That said, I don't think we can talk about a reversal yet as the trend is still very much bearish. If anything, this pullback might be a good opportunity to sell again.

EUR/USD continued its descent and even broke below the support at 1.2500, reaching a new low at 1.2440. Despite the current pullback I think we will see the bearish trend continuing, at least until it reaches 1.2200, perhaps even 1.2000.

EUR/USD keeps falling and it will likely reach 1.2500. What happens next is up for debate, however. Will it form a double bottom and bounce back or will it break below the support at 1.2500 and head even lower? Personally, I still think that the long term target is 1.2200, perhaps even 1.2000, but I don't think anything can be said for certain before we see what happens around the 1.2500 level first.

After the FOMC news yesterday EUR/USD dropped significantly without even reaching the resistance at 1.2830. It will likely continue to descent with target 1.2500, which is a pretty strong support level.

EUR/USD broke above 1.2750 and is likely headed for 1.2800, even 1.2830. Also, depending on the FOMC news later today we might finally see some increased volatility on the market. If the pair can't break above the resistance at 1.2830 we might see a sharp drop.

EUR/USD started climbing again and it looks like it is headed for target 1.2830, where there is a significant resistance. I'm assuming that it will begin testing that resistance again, but at this point whether it will be able to break above it is anyone's guess.

Monday proved to be as slow and uneventful as Friday with EUR/USD moving in a tight range, although it does seem to be heading up again, probably for 1.2830. Or this movement could be just part of the range.

I didn't expect that Friday would be so uneventful. Nothing interesting is happening and I think we might have to wait for Monday before we see any major change in the EUR/USD chart. Have a fun weekend, everyone.
