I have an account with THINKFOREX. I want to transfer it to OANDA. Is there a way to do a broker to broker transfer? Or do I need to withdraw the cash and then deposit it to OANDA?

Hi,

yes you can. Usually you have to fill in form that is provided by your new broker, verify your identity and wait for money transfer.
As far as I know ThinkForex is good reputable broker who won't do any difficulties.

On the other hand why go to Oanda with their lack of MT4 and leverage?

Oanda does have an MT4 offering, but MT4 is falling apart. With every new update more bloat is added and more code is broken.
The market will go up, failing which, it will go down.

@togr : the unannounced update broke most of my scripts and indicators. Now I'm not sure if the numbers being reported are correct :( I can still trade, just that everything has to be confirmed manually.

@raviluke : By low leverage, I suppose you mean 50:1.

Well as I said you can still trade with old MT4 build 509.
Just renew the MT4 from you backup:)
