Hello Pro traders,

I have a question about the Monday opening in which the price is opened far apart from the previous week's closing.

Suppose, you have a position which was not closed at the end of Friday.
At the next week's opening, the price is much different from the last week's closing price.

In that case, you could be in a huge winning/losing position.
If the direction is opposite, you could lose more than you have deposited.

In this case, does your account become negative?
I can assume that if you are winning, your account gets high, but I do not know how it works if the direction is not with you.

Thank you so much pro traders, and I look forward to your wise reply!!

As well as I understand, if your position went against the trend, you just get stop out on Monday. (( That's why I prefer not to leave my orders at the weekend.
If you want to end up with a nonaverage net worth, a “learn from someone else” attitude is paramount. Putting your ego aside and admitting that you don’t know it all isn’t easy, but it is the mindset of true winner ----Paul Tudor Jones.
