Belgium Consumer Confidence
The consumer confidence index in Belgium provides succinct information about consumer's confidence in the direction of the economy's evolution. In order to calculate the index, more than 1,000 individuals are polled monthly over the phone to ask them about their expectations for the country's job and economic prospects, as well as their own financial condition and ability to save money. Positive responses outnumber negative responses on the index, with a score of zero indicating that Belgians are evenly divided on whether things will become better or worse for consumers in the coming year.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.

German Industrial Production Declines In March
Germany's industrial production declined for the first time in three months in March driven by the decreases in consumer and intermediate goods output, official data revealed Wednesday. Industrial production declined 0.4 percent on a monthly basis, in contrast to the 1.7 percent increase in February, Destatis reported.

Eurozone Private Sector Growth Accelerates In April
The euro area private sector growth accelerated to an 11-month high in April driven by the service sector, final survey results from S&P Global showed on Monday. The HCOB composite output index rose to 51.7 in April from 50.3 in the previous month. The flash estimate was 51.4.
