Montenegro Balance of Trade
The most important exports of Montenegro include manufactured products, mineral fuels, lubricants, raw materials, and food and beverages. The country has strong commercial relations with its neighbors, which may be traced back to ancient times. Accounting for 46% of Montenegrin exports, tourism is already a significant component of the country's trade flows, and it is likely to continue to develop in the coming years. Montenegro's mineral reserves also contribute significantly to the country's exports, which are assisted by a thriving complementary manufacturing sector. Manufactured goods, food, beverages, and tobacco, as well as mineral fuels, lubricants, machinery, and transportation equipment, are the main of Montenegro's imports. Serbia, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Italy, and Croatia are some of Montenegro's most important trading partners.
