Low interest in 2017 lead me to stock trading instead of letting my cash rot. Wish it hadn't. This lead me to CFD/forex trading. Wish it hadn't. Well, I increasingly love it, but it cost me dearly.

The elephant in the porcelain store is dead now, though. Slow and steady. Manifest probability instead of gambling.

I'm still a beginner, but I feel some momentum. I know that good fortune will eventually come to me - on all fronts. Forex trading is one of the best metering devices, for my level of good fortune and for my diminishing delusions regarding reality.

What does "russian broker" mean? Do you mean the origin of the company? What about being regulated (like FXTM is)?

I write of them from experience, not as advertisement. The only others I have personal experience with are Trading212 and IG. Of these, FXTM is the best from a trading perspective, though IG is a close second, mostly because of their remarkable web platform.

ForexTime allows scalping, hedging, has optionally swap-free accounts (for everybody), true negative balance protection (at least in Germany, check if your country too), and relatively low spreads (e.g. EUR/USD often 0.3 pips) for their "ECN" accounts, which in turn come with $4 commission...

Broker choice

Just make sure that *if* you read a broker recommendation, and it's not a very custom comment like you find e.g. on Reddit but could instead be generic, Google it. You'll be surprised how often you find the same text for a different broker. Which, in turn, needn't mean that those brokers...
