Apparently the MT4 placed on the VPS can be encrypted so it can neither be seen nor accessed by the VPS provider.

I think if you bind the EA to work only with your broker and account number (i.e. put such a protection code in the source code of the EA) and place only the executable on your VPS, that should be sufficient against prying eyes...

You need to choose it on some tests and reviews from all other people in the space anyway. I do not really see any need to make it possible anyway. I do understand that it really need to be what it takes. See google for reviews. DigitalOcean and such.

Only by carefully reading reviews on the websites trough the internet. I do not know or see any other way entirely. Are you able to get it done or not? On some tech forums, but for forex needs every possible VPS should work anyway I think.

You can look for brokers who provide good VPS and have a good reputation. Some such brokers that I’ve used are RoboForex and FxPro.

I use paid VPS for my clients accounts, even have physical computers set up too as back up, as a trader whom trade daily, i have to be more than prepared and don't entertain freebies for trading, I go for the best and pay for the best, because I'm getting paid from profit sharing.
