Is this EA for real or what,

I have tried it for 5 Months now with only two profitable days, no refund in the so called 60 day money back guaranteed as it states they will supply a working EA according to them if the smiley face appears on the screen it works.

I payed $2000 for the EA, after a month of no profits they said it is because of the master broker so I payed an additional $250 for a master broker this did not improve the results after a couple of months they stopped the service to the broker I paid for with no explanation. A long story short I was desperate to get it to work and they offered a setup fee of $500 for all 3 my accounts as it is a lengthy process, the guy logged in and less than 5 minutes logged back out saying its all done.
Back and forth emails they said they will log back in and complete the setup, a few months later I'm still waiting.
Next step is to report them to Interpol for fraudulent transactions.

Do not let them cheat you out of your cash whether you came by it easy or hard.
They a cheats and no good customer service is non existing.

Looks like you've been ripped off. They took their website down.

If it looks too good to be true, it's probably a scam! Let the buyer beware.

Although I should probably mention, that since you said you've been using it for 5 months now, there probably isn't much you can do. Was there anything in their terms of service or license agreement regarding a guarantee of profitability?

I checked the Internet Archive server for a historical snapshot of the website. (handy website....) :)
https://web.archive.org/web/20160305073525/https://mt5fxrobot.com/

It does say this on the most recent archived page for the site.

Best of luck getting your money back, I suspect you will never see it again.

Did a little digging and it looks like the author took his/her twitter account down as well.
https://twitter.com/MarkHam_FX

That was listed as their twitter account on a link in the archive as well.

Their public whois information o the website is:

Perhaps contact dreamhost?

Good luck...

did you use a credit card to purchase any of these items? if so initiate a charge back for fraud.

I have made piece with it not getting my money back and it is not so much the fact that the EA did not work (Somewhat at that price) trading is high risk what really ticked me off is the fact that I paid for a service that I have not yet received that really got under my skin, and for that I will make their world hell and post the truth about their service and their dealings. If I can stop 10 people to purchase their product I'll know I have made an impact on their revenue stream. :-)
I have given them an opportunity to correct it and give me the service I have paid for or I'll report them to Interpol fraud division. Their reply 'Don't forget the FBI and KGB'. Sounds like a challenge to me ... I like that....

I've never given it a thought. I was under the impression you could only claim if you have not received the product.
I'll contact my bank and see what I can arrange. Thanks for the advise.

I have also started a facebook page a few months ago to draw their attention to the seriousness of the situation but they have obviously been down this road before, I think

Looks like the guy is in the US, contact the CFTC which covers enforcement of Forex & commodities. These people are very good about bringing people to justice. Believe me, these people are serious. If the vendor made statements that are not backed by fact then you should have a good case.

This link is to file a complaint:
https://www.cftc.gov/ConsumerProtection/FileaTiporComplaint/index.htm

Here is a list of current actions they have taken:
https://www.cftc.gov/PressRoom/PressReleases/EnforcementPressReleases/index.htm

Another idea is to contact the Attorney General (California) since according to the registration records this is where he is from

California Office of the Attorney General
Attorney General: Edmund G. Brown

California Department of Justice
Attn: Public Inquiry Unit

A word of warning for anyone considering purchasing any trading system (manual or EA), you must see third party confirmations and if the vendor does not have the proof, you walk.

Backtesting can easily be manipulated (and it is). The manipulation occurs by testing the algorithm first then finding where the bad trades were, then they take the data feed (that the Strategy Tester uses) and they delete those days where the bad trading occurred. Now you have a beautiful equity curve but a bad EA. Never ceases to amaze me how deceitful people have become.

You can also claim if you receive a product that is not fit for purpose, or a service that wasn't delivered also. They will initiate a chargeback with the vendors bank, it needs to usually be within 180 days (6 months), so get onto it soon. Your bank will refund the money into your card, and charge Mastercard / Visa who then has to chase money with the other bank. This bank will then send your supporting claim to the vendor and if they don't hear the refund will be permanent, or they will have to provide proof / evidence etc. I have had to do this before with something bought through paypal, it got refunded in the end. Good luck (it was for an electronic good also).

Thanks. It's probably blocked by my firewall as a malware site or something. No worries. I wouldn't buy a bot anyway. :)
