Hello everyone, quick question. I am wanting to diversify and trade share CFD’s when I see opportunities but I am wondering do stop losses or take profits work during after hour trading? I can’t alter a trade during after hour trading but I wasn’t sure if stop losses would work. Probably slippage would occur if yes.

Regular trading hours are like a busy marketplace. Lots of people buy and sell, so you can usually get a fair price. After-hours trading is more like a small store at night. Fewer people around, so it can be tough to buy or sell your investments for exactly the price you want. This means your stop-loss or take-profit orders might not happen at the exact price you set. To be safe, it's usually better to wait for the market to open when there's more activity.
