FxPapa,
Two things.
First, I emailed support about those last losses, they asked about my broker, I sent the info. Never heard back from them, so I worry new losses may occur, such as right now, when there are two positions open - one is supposed to compensate the other - will the EA close them with another loss? That's what happened to me last time, while your account closed them in profit. I guess I should write them again.
While I was typing, the trades closed in profit :) Good.
Second:
Something seems to be wrong with the risk input of the EA.
In a 1000 dollar account, with Risk_Percent 20, the position size should be 0.10 lots. But the EA is opening 0.08 lot positions. I increased risk to 30 and the lot size remained the same, at 0.08.
In a 290 euro account, with Risk_Percent 99, the lot size should be 0.14. The EA opens 0.11 lot positions.
So I hardly have any control over the size of the positions. Moreover, with a 20% risk, if the lot size is 0.10, you win more than with 0.08 lots and, the 200 pips which should be the SL level turn into 250 pips, which would be excessive.
I need a solution for this problem.
Regards,
Alec

You can't control the lot size with the risk percentage setting.
The risk percentage setting is how much you are willing to loose per trade.
Fx Papa has decided what the lot size should be, relative to your account size.
If you have $1000 and your risk setting is 10% and you break $100 DD, then that's when it should close.

Dear Alec
It's strange! Everyone here knows we answer all requests. We haven't revived any request or question from you.
Please send it again.
About the lot size:
The Max acceptable input risk for 1:100 leverage is 15. It seems your account leverage is 1:100 too.

FxPapa,
15% risk - 1:300 leverage - balance 1600
So what is the expected lot size by the EA ? 0.16 lot ?

Hi
That is correct. I learnt this after having it on both and it opened two trades.
Just one chart

hello fxpapa
i have just bought the EA and waiting for my first trade, i have gone through this thread however and found that traders biggest problems with FXPapa, is the time trades are closed at, that's where the difference between your and thier performance is found.
So i was wondering why dont you close the trades the same way you opened them, i.e. make the EA copy your trade closing decisions as well as it is copying it's trade opening ones, this way we will guarantee almost identical results, because there will always be price differences between different price feeds, price differences that can go upto 3 or 5 pips because of varying spreads for example, and since we are trageting small TP and SL already, this small difference can be fatal and make our EAs close the trades while they should still be opened.
Also it would be a good idea, if you implemented this feature, to make the EA set safety stops in case your server had some technical problems that prevented it from sending the closing signals.
I strongly hope you take these suggestions in consideration.
Thanks

Hi
I appreciate your suggestions.
We will add the hard SL on the next update.
In current version of the EA the closing time is the same but as you said the price may be vary because of the different data of brokers.
We try to find best solution.

Hi FxPapa,
I was just wondering if you knew that your Myfxbook page is not updating every 5 minutes any more like it should. It hasn't updated since 4/19/12. You may need to check it and see why it's not updating...
Cheers,
Roger

The gbpusd trade was still open and closing and reopening the terminal, will it cause the ea to lose control? Also it isn't saying connected to server etc.. How long does that take?

Hi
Don't worry. Everything is OK.
When there is an open position FxPapa doesn't need account number verification. So lot the EA do its job.
