I use default settings which is Percent of free margin is Lot Size.
Nice butterfly trading right now :)
Entry was spot on. Took off right in the middle of the PRZ and on the daily support 2.

walter what is the explanation why you use percentage of free margin instead of the equity?

The free margin is proportional to the equity, isn't it.
And your broker requires a free margin before you get a margin call / stop out.
So it's just good practise to look at your free margin before opening positions.
Butterfly still there! Second TP taken, trailing the third one. This is a text book trade ;)

so do you suggest that using free margin as percentage to trade is much better and safer than the percentage equity?

HarmonicsTrader closed the 3rd position of the sept 16th Butterfly a few moments ago.
Only 2 points below the trailing "soft" SL.
This one went just perfect!
+ 232 pips!
Glad it finished the pattern before the FOMC later on 😀

i tested the EA many times on 1 hour chart for the EURUSD on the same period but it did not give me the results which posted here , why is that ??

i did not change any sitting and i use 1.5 point as spread but still not giving the same results

What do you mean by not the same results? Not the same patterns?
Because all depends on spread, broker GMT offset ...
Sometimes a TP or SL is missed or taken by only 1 point! So spread matters.

HT is now updated to HarmonicsTrader_v3.4.2
• Added setting “CloseOrTouch”.
• Optimized EA and changed default settings accordingly! Most important ones are:
- Using whole PRZ now to trigger trade. (see ShiftMiddleLinePRZ_Percent setting)
- Turned Trend Filter Off.
• Deleted some unused and irrelevant settings.
• Solved ZUP “zero divide” error.
First trade - bullish Shark on apr 25th - with this version was awesome!

I have now missed the last 4 sets of trades on both my accounts (different brokers). Any tips on how to prevent this from happening?

Could you be more specific on which trades (patterns) you missed?
I can already tell you this:
There can be a difference between brokers. (even 1 pip can cause a pattern to (not) appear)
If you are referring to the emerging cypher: this pattern is not in HT version 3.4.2. I'm testing version 3.4.3 before releasing it.

yes, new account. Not getting the em cyphers for the reasons above, but also have not had any of the bullish black swan trades. No trades on my accounts since 9 November.
Can I adjust any settings to increase the number of trades?

Default settings should be fine.
Any (error) messages in the experts or journal tab?
