IUX Supports Educational Access with the Launch of Book Donation Drive in Johannesburg
IUX launched Book Donation Drive in Johannesburg, focused on providing children with the educational tools they need to succeed. Running during this November, the campaign aims to collect gently used or new books to be donated to schools and libraries in Johannesburg.
Through a collaboration with Bokamoso Education Trust, IUX is working to ensure that children in communities have access to diverse educational resources. The campaign will benefit a range of schools in Johannesburg, including King Edward VII Preparatory, St. Stithians Girl's Preparatory, Parkview Junior School and The Rotary Club of Bedfordview. The remaining books will be donated to Ratang Bana, an organization that supports vulnerable children.
The campaign aims to bridge the educational gap in South Africa, where many schools need more educational materials. By collecting and redistributing books, IUX hopes to foster an environment of curiosity and learning among young learners in Johannesburg.
The campaign will include donation boxes at participating schools, with the collected books being organized and distributed to the beneficiaries. A community picnic and handover ceremony will take place at the end of the campaign, where the books will be officially donated.
