Well this particular account says it has 1053.37% growth but if you click on the profit tab it says -$3.3k. I must have gone to the wrong school. I was never taught that you could have positive percentage growth yet be negative on your $$$ profit. That's a new one on me.
That's Russian logic. Listen to what their politics say, it's about the same.

Oh don't even start me on Russian brokers!!!my money down the drain, I thought alpari is a good choice it has been in business for like ten years. I was wrong! tip:NEVER use Alpari unless you have at least 100-300k capital and do longer period trading.

Mmmmm, I tried their demo. It was shit. There were occasions when prices were way behind true market price. If a broker can't get their demo to work properly there is no way I'm going to put real money with them.

I agree:)
Moreover this guy - Kiwi makes a lot of post trying to promote his poor systems all over this forum.
Systems are usually updated just until he get them to zero balance and then deleted.
So be very careful...

Hi Tomas and co
How you all doing?
I'm still running mine very successfully, no change since I last spoke with any of you.
https://www.myfxbook.com/members/B1FXprof/inveur/874130
That's about mid-table for my accounts; anyone who's spoken to me in private will know how I operate and therefore know why I won't post my top accounts....all about the brokers with the way I trade. This one happens to be a good consistent long-termer for me.
Best wishes

Why is that? why people privatise their best accounts? like in general. I mean most strategies will be so complex to reverse engineer.

I ask another question, why this message is in this thread? Surely it's self-promotion.

The private accounts thing really is because finding good brokers to work with any strategy can take time and a lot of effort, sometimes lost money too, as I'm sure you're well aware, once you're able to trade well being profitable is all about understanding the brokers games.
I have no fear about this strategy being reverse engineered - like you say, it's way to complex, a list of trades doesn't really help in that respect.
As for self-promotion, it's not intentionally so; I post on here rarely and am just joining in on this thread about best systems. I am not trading my own system, so am happy to post.
Still, genuine greetings to you guys anyway, I wish you all the best of luck.

Actually B1FXprof, self promotion is the only thing that makes any sense. There would be no motivation to promote or even discuss someone else's methods, so there would never be any progress to discuss and the newbies would have nothing to learn.
The forum is by its nature a hostile environment. We have had a number of good traders leave the forum because they didn't have anything to promote and the level of attacks was not worth the emotional cost. People who attack others for self promoting is hurting the forum and in my mind, the concept doesn't even make any sense, but then, who am I?
For the record, I do not have any problem with self promotion, I welcome it. I want to know if someone has developed a new idea that I can use. I know I have helped a number of people develop new ideas by using some part of what I have done. It was a recent discussion with Ironman that got me to bring out some old concepts that I was working on and reworked them with the new ideas from the discussion and damn if it doesn't look like it is going to work.
Speaking just for me, please feel free to self promote. Just don't do it all the time, be respectful of others and be there to answer the questions. Promote just don't make the promotion the biggest part of the conversation. Those seem to be more sensible guidelines than an absolute ban.

Not against self promotion unless:
1. It is clearly out of place and context, if someone is asking whether to use mt4 or mt5 and you just throw your system out there.
2.If you are going to treat us like retards, I swear if one more person shows a 2 month demo account asking for 10k min investment I am going to use my virtual samurai sword and cut him down.

Nice recovery. Nearly back to breakeven.
What's that drawdown all about though? Does that 48.24% mean that there are floating losses? Because this account doesn't make sense to me. 1,169.54% growth but the account isn't in profit yet? Maths isn't my strongest point. Probably wasn't paying attention in class when I was taught that you can have percentage growth but no profit.

Hi,
it has 70% DD. If it had 100% all positions would be closed and you loose everything.
So let's simplify the DD as probability you would be forced to close all positions with loss.

Must have had very smooth curve as well I presume. Losing trades under the rug until hopefully they would come to BE and taking small winners. I have seen this many times.
When curve is choppy but is moving up overall one knows the guy is taking losses and controlling risk.
