COT Report - November 12, 2024
Non-Commercial Sentiment Analysis and Trading Strategy

Our trading strategy is based on Non-Commercial sentiment, specifically the percentage of long positions held by Non-Commercial traders. We use the following criteria:

Long Positions: If Non-Commercial long positions are between 0% and 40%.
Short Positions: If Non-Commercial long positions are between 70% and 100%.
No Trade Zone: If Non-Commercial long positions are between 50% and 60%.
We adopt a contrarian approach, meaning we trade against the prevailing sentiment. Below is the current sentiment for each asset and our corresponding action:

WTI Crude Oil:

Non-Commercial Long Position: 71.23%
Sentiment: Overbought (Majority Long)
Action: Short (Contrarian position, expecting a pullback)
Gold:

Non-Commercial Long Position: 79.85%
Sentiment: Overbought (Majority Long)
Action: Short (Contrarian position, expecting a price decline)
Swiss Franc (CHF):

Non-Commercial Short Position: 87.65%
Sentiment: Oversold (Majority Short)
Action: Long (Contrarian position, expecting a price rebound)
Canadian Dollar (CAD):

Non-Commercial Short Position: 90.28%
Sentiment: Oversold (Majority Short)
Action: Long (Contrarian position, expecting a price rebound)
“I trade not to predict the market, but to react to its structure with confidence and control.”
