Can anyone answer why some signal providers promote their systems on demo accounts over live accounts? One person that promotes his signals a lot on here says he uses demo account for better performance and quicker execution to live accounts - this does not make sense to me. If anything the performance on a live account should be more stable as it is using real money, where demo accounts are play money.
For my system I use a live account and would expect than anyone looking to use signals should ensure the provider is using a live account as well.
There is a psychological difference for the trader based on whether or not they are using a live or demo account, however was wondering if anyone can shed some light on the difference of live to demo data feeds from a brokers perspective?

Psychological difference, of course yes. But I also heard that demo trades are not transferred to interbank and are processed just as they are, that is why execution speed on demo is quicker as a rule. On some forum, I cannot remember on which exactly, I read that demos are to get used to terminal but not to trade. Nice words if it is really so.
