Do you prefer fixed spreads or dynamic spreads?

Hi All!
In my opinion, I would like to go for variable spreads, as the broker who provide fixed spreads are market makers and they earn when the client losses. so I would prefer variable spreads.

I have not decided yet whether I like the fixed spread or the dynamic one. My broker has different types of accounts, some with a fixed spread, and others with a dynamic spread. Therefore I while in reflections.

Fixed spreads are better if you are a news trader. If not, dynamic spreads are better.

Every offer for dynamic spreads that I've ever seen has been outrageous. I opened a 0 commission account with my broker and while that typically would mean that the account would have higher than average spreads, they actually wound up being quite low and no withdrawal fees. There are good deals out there but it takes effort to search for them but I don't think that you're going to find any of those life-changing deals in regards to floating spreads.

I guess you meant exactly floating spreads by saying “dynamic” ones. I personally don’t care what spreads to trade with. It’s not the main thing is trading. How right your market forecast - that’s what really matters and the rest is less significant.

If you're trading the news, I think you need a fixed spread. This will save you from spread widening.
This can happen if an important macroeconomic news is released at the same time.
In other cases, it's better to use a floating spread.

Try everything. Every trader offers a demo account, so you can try different strategies and then decide which spread is best for you.
