I do Ruben. I might close everything before the close this eve as I don't like having short term trades open over the weekend.
Yeah I did the same, closed the positions manually. Especially since there are a couple of news releases coming up for the AUD and CAD on monday. Doesn't look like a good idea to keep them open, so I took my loss but it's much better than potentially hitting a full stop on monday.

It depends on your risk acceptance. Depending on how many levels deep the position is. Level 3 and below I would have taken the chance/risk keeping it open over the weekend.

True, but it had already 5 positions open, so that would be gambling with the news releases coming up imho.

It seems, you are trading with a to high spread. When having a spread below 4 pips which is at FinFx, Hot Forex or Pepperstone, you should already have closed the trades last night.

I actually am running it on a Pepperstone account. The spread isn't too bad usually. Thing is however that I only started it live yesterday. I already noticed that on your account here the first position was opened earlier at a lower level and it got closed with a profit on the move down after opening the third position. At that point mine was only at the second position so it got dragged on all the way until the Canadian manufacturing news where price spiked up, forcing FF to open more positions all the way until a fifth position was openened.
Could this 'going out of sync' of my account with your account have to do with the fact that I only started it yesterday? And if yes, would this mean that it should be in sync next monday when we start off with the same positions?
Ruben.

I have a question with regards to the news filter. What specific news are not traded on? For example does the ISM manufacturing data release such news. I assume the news filter does not close positions if the positions were opened the day prior to a news release day. Is this correct?
Thank you

I was lucky enough to have the AUDNZD Flow disabled, because I was waiting to get in sync with the vendor's account again so it was only running on AUDCAD. 😱
Was this the first SL ever hit? Hope we get another long period of no SL's now.

And now the improbable became reality: two full SL within 10 trading days. 8 months profits on vendors account viped out. This was a great strategy until these SLs. The first SL was ok to swallow but the second one is much tougher. Will it now be full steam ahead and no SLs the coming two years or will a third SL hit in a month or so? We don't know that and do we want to take that risk? 😕 That is the question. 😉

I am wondering why the first position has a loss of 135 pips? Shouldn't be only 120 pips? Oh yah... The SL order was moved to a higher level on the wish that the price will reverse... Now that's what really bothers me... Not the loss but the manipulation of the trading strategy... Everyone should expect that a SL will be hit one day but changing the way the system works wishing that the level would not be reached is not good... My SL was triggered before the sample account as the SL was on (1.03908)... I've seen the SL on this sample account very close to mine (1.03910) only after a while; I've noticed that the SL on the sample account was changed to (1.04038)... That was disappointing…
