I don't think Fusion is that bad after all. It works fine for me for now.
Fusion requires tweaking to trade better. 😄

Yes, that's my account.
The account also includes my manual trading.
I've lost most of the profit traded by Fusion. 😀

OKay, I've just done a custom analysis of your Fusion trades as you were kind enough to send the magic numbers and I make it
-$434.78 with Fusion.

I hate to tell you but Fusion is losing you money as well and you might also want to think about the fact that you're over trading by manually trading an account that already has six strategies on it. You're either going to get very rich or very broke.

You may like to disregard the -$434.78 because I got refunded by FXCM due to their platform failure while trading with Fusion. It was a disastrous when trading with their platform then. It's better now.
I'm trading manually with a small lot size and when Fusion is not opening much trades. It works well for me.

I turned off Fusion a long time ago...too many losers..not enough control of the settings(when to trade, no trades on Friday etc...) I asked the FRWC team about the no trades setting...all they could say is you can turn it off manually...thx for nothing. I do like Hi-Rider/advanced..good EA cept for this past week when the Eur/Usd gapped and Hi -Rider saw a huge opportunity and lost.
Good luck with Fusion...I think the FRWC team wants to create a good robot and am not sure if its just not the right timing for all the EA's inside of Fusion or what?

Hi Shuan,

FRWC Team should improve on their customer support. They should look closely into customer feedback and react upon for improvement.
Yes, a more customizable settings will be good for advance user.
I think adding script from MT4 should be able to control trade not to open on Friday. I'll be more interested to Google for a solution on this.
HiRider Advance should only work better with an appropriate stop-lost. Definitely not a stop -lost of 210pips.

I would suggest the following settings for Fusion, they work fine for me:
HiRider - 20pips stop-lost
Volcano - 40pips stop-lost; 30pips take-profit

I am trading Fusion and have found you need to close all trades open on Sunday before Midnight. IF you do that you will profit from this robot. On a $2000 account I am now up over $200 in profit. Also close all good trades when you see them before openiong of US Market.

Thanks for sharing Ctmac. Yes agreed, close trades when profiting or stop trades from opening before the market closes while trading with Fusion or for most EAs.
One of the robot in Fusion, LMC Multicurrency opened a trade on 16 April 2010 (Friday) and did profit well but didn't close itself, it lost from a fluctuation after market reopened.

Straasha has a likable settings from the above. I do hope FRWC can add a similar settings for Super Volcano, Neg Correlation, HiRider and LMD Multicurrency in the next release of Fusion. For now I'm looking at MT4 script to do that kind of closing for me. It should be available somewhere.

Ctmac, may I know what lot size are you trading with Fusion now?

My lot size is 0.02 - 0.04 with FXCM account. I am running the updated settings with several currencies disabled

Hi Kelrine,
The 68% lost is not from the EA, it's from my manual trading.
Some loses are recovered from the brokerage due to platform issue.
Please read my earlier post. 😄

A quick analysis on Super Volcano trading GBPJPY build in Fusion:

Base on default settings from my trade on 02.18.2010 22:40 to 04.09.2010 00:27;
Total number of trade lost: 13
Total number of pips lost: 2067.1
Average number of pips lost per trade: 159
Highest pips lost in a single trade: 677.6
Highest pips win in a single trade: 459

Base on my settings to 20~40pips SL and 30pips TP from my trade on 04.14.2010 13:35 to 04.18.2010 22:32;
Total number of trade lost: 7
Total number of trade win: 1

Super Volcano trades on volatility. When volatility is high and price goes up, Super Volcano sells and vice versa.
Base on my settings, the trade did not turn out well a few times because it has hit the SL before it can take the profit.
On average, the price Super Volcano opens might go against 80~100pips further before it retraces to take profit.

Base on the default settings, there are some trades opened by Super Volcano and had profited at 30pips but did not close and ended in a loosing trade.
I would like Super Volcano to include the Trailing-Stop setting for this. A Trailing-Stop of 10pips would be recommended.

Super Volcano can open a trade for a number of days before it closed at a profit or lost. And I might miss a higher profit if I set a fix Take-Profit. Hence, here will be my new settings for Super Volcano in Fusion:

Stop-Lost = 85pips
Take-Profit = 0 pips

For now, I will manually set my Trailing-Stop when Super Volcano starts to profit.
