This account was a hedging account and had to go in the opposite direction of my main account's positions. Mistakes were made. The actual position that hit me should have been the other way around but the order slipped in quickly and the ended up buying into the same direction as the other short-term trade from the main account. Should have just cut the losses much sooner even if I kept holding it after messing up the hedge. The the drop hit me much sooner than expected. In retrospect had I still held the position last week could have gotten out at a decent profit, but that's still not an excuse for the mistake.
Will shift some money back to this account soonish and will be reviving the hedging strategies.
