If it trades, I believe it will lose! some pairs did spike long enough, but already reverted

Frankly speaking there are tons of programmers out there that could do the same coding if they knew what to program.
And the hard part and the true beauty of this EA is actually finding the logic that works.
so, Im actually glad guys like this post ALL they trades for us to see analyze copy and paste ;)
Btw, guess what kind of channel is used to check for the BO? Keltner channels !! dahhh. MDP was based on Bollinger, I chg these part of the code:
ibands_8 = iBands(...)
with middle=iMA (....)
where the iMA is done on ATR averages ;)

Another comment on this, for those of you that knows how these volatility Channels Breakout based EA work you will see how the channels behave and what are the pros and cons of using channels. check this sample - and note that this is heavily dependent on what is the period of which you are calculating. see the attached image.
Now after the Spike happened at 12:15 the channels will spike and depending on the power of the trend they will settle down again.
This KeltnerPro acts 15min later after BO detection!!! Just check for yourself all the trades it made.
Check the spike of today - this time for the EURUSD... a clear spike on minute 12:15, and a BUY trade 15min after!!!!
Here a clear loss he could have avoided if he had added a function to track price movement in the next 2 candles!!!
Just remember something else, check yesterdays SPIKE.... no news on my ForexCalendar that colaborated it... spiked and reverted.
Its almost as if the brokers already knew some ppl were after those ;)
Anyway... enough of my nonsense! For those of you out there, just keep an eye on the news apply a basic Keltner Channel Indicator to your Chart, adjust the band period and level above channel you consider BO = TRUE, wait for confirmation (i.e. the next candles have to really show UP trend power) and thats pretty much it for when to ENTER A TRADE.
So enough of my nonsenses on this one... happy Piping!

MDP or similar agressive scalper that acts on the reverse of a price explosion during NEWs event and which had 3pip SL, does NOT survive with any type of slippage.
They worked before everysingle broker started to "act weird" at the same time they do...
In 2011 it did, around 6 months in 2012 the modified version did too! Today , I have long retired this EA. Works somewhat still great in DEMOs where there are no tricks... Signal is there, he gets it and WINs... ;)

Yep, good idea.
Let's see if this vendor (scam artist) honours the money back guarantee he promised.
Folks, my experience has told me: if the EA costs money, it probably doesn't work. Hence, the vendor needs to make his losses back by selling his crap to unwitting buyers (like me).
It is so easy to get suckered in with "good" results, but buyers really should not encourage this behaviour. Don't buy another EA again - especially if it is over $100.
If the EA worked and already makes "heaps" of money, why would the vendor a) decide to sell it for money? b) even share it?

I dont believe the author is an Scam Artist AT ALL.
If anything he is brilliant! Very good EA, which crazy results! But as any EA, needs to be adapted or they die. For the author itself, well, I believe he made already enough money.
If this was my EA from scratch, you would bet you would NOT see it ;) as I really think its just to good to "give away".
Anyway, this is a slow EA, take 3 bars (15min) to act on a Signal... just make your own mind if you want.
I created an indicator (+EA you can see in action on the tester) that gives me the signal, so I can judge whether to go or not!

13% down on the last 3 trading days is over the top. I asked for a refund too. Clickbetter are great at refunding after 24 hours. The system is not a scam its just a breakout strategy which is great for 2 months out of the year when there is very high volatility. without the breakouts it will just keep nibbling slowly at your account.
He really needs to have a protective dynamic profit stop for the retracements if it doesn't make the target. Start SL at 100 pips & move it to 25 pips to avoild being stopped out on all the good trades that it has been stopped out from.
also he should leave some values like SL distance for the client to adjust rather than have his own strategy completely hardcoded

The last trade that Kelter Pro made today was at at 08:45. It did not make a trade at 12:15 or 12:30. What trade are you talking about?
I can't make head nor tails of the pictures you have posted. When you post a chart, make sure the Symbol, Period, and the time scale at the bottom are included.

I take it you know me very well then? I like to whine - hope you don't mind!
I am a quitter too - hence my poor results since 2008. And I am still quitting!
The evidence is in the results... so far not so good! For $600 ($200 x 3) plus recent losses, I honestly don't see this as anything BUT a scam. Okay, perhaps "scam" is too harsh or general a term in this instance - how about "crap over-priced product"?
As with any strategy or EA, there are sure to be supporters (or best buddies to vendor?), and there are certainly detractors - I will consider myself a detractor. Refund requested. I'm gonna go waste my money on another useless POS! 😎
Or perhaps I (we) are too quick to judge...?

If you are mentioning the whole marketing posted by the author about KeltnerPro, those are always from 90% of the commercial EAs out there really undigestable.
But the EA did work before and so I dont believe the author was trying to Scam you. But seems to me , the brokers will play against you now.
Look at my "view" of the last 2 trades it made... the level of BO calculated in my EA was just too low in my settings for a trigger. Its really a matter of adapting to what is being thrown at you. But really , dont think any EA out there can survive or NOT lose forever.
Lower your risk to a minimal and follow up, without a new version, I'd suggest not using this EA.
I have like I said many other ways to improve this one... but as I was told before... what do I know ;)

Yes vlad, you certainly demonstrated that you know quite a bit about this EA and its strategy. Your insight has been most welcome and stating the facts.
My posts have been very opinionated (as my emotions often dictate my responses). I "throw the towel in" if I don't see the results I want to see very quickly (as Profix observed, I am a quitter).
The verdict is out for others to make up their own minds, but my mind is already made up. Thanks.

Well, 20% DD in a few days is quite hard to survive. There's a chance if he leaves this EA running as it is that the 90K he won will be gone soon.
Im dont think you are wrong in stop using it for the moment or lowering your riks to 1% at most for all pairs together!
