I'm in the process of creating a MDPBackEA, a robot which trade just after MDP do its job to try to get the missing pips from the robot.

You should wait some time. MDP has been really quiet lately. It takes time to get it set up correctly with the right broker. Also, the vendor does not refund your money. The guarantee is from Clickbank (if that is who MDP used) so you must go to Clickbank custome service to process a refund. But please give it some more time.

Almost no trades 2 weeks. But this is because market didn't make big spikes, except for NFP.

2 weeks? last week was superb. This is very slow, patience is a virtue :)

Last trade on Oct 12 ....more losses than winners, but still way up on MDP so far and I've just started testing.

The key to MDP is having a VPS close to your broker with a response time of <40ms. It does not work otherwise and you'll certainly lose more than win.

@MistiFX. Check your response time. Perhaps this is reason why you have no trades. Get a VPS close to your broker

MT4 also tends to switch servers automatically at rollover. You need to keep an eye on the server its connecting to or choose a broker with one datacenter.

Well... for me, I did not recommend it until you have an incredible broker with small execution time. this robot is too sensitive and open trades in particular trends only which required an incredible setup.

I found that IrisFX is good and did not required high speed execution. it use the SL are correctly setup and the open orders too, so you can see its a secure robot, and get good profits... when the trend is good too ;)

the new Forex Cash Multiplier also try to get more pips then MDP and use a lot of currencies. the results are reasonable for the moment. its too early to confirm its trend.

I've done well with MDP. Almost 100% over 90 days. I was actually doing better with my desktop on a high speed internet connection than I am currently using the VPS recommended by MDP. Click on my name to see the stats.

You have to be patient. The key to this system in my opinion is that you plod along with little profits and losses and then, 'bang' a huge profit in one day. As the old adage says. 'cut your losers short and let the profits run' or something like that. :)

Don't ask what my settings are because I have yet to figure out what is best for my VPS and broker. In my mind every time the bot trades the spike and retracement behave differently. If there is a loss and I change settings it could make things worse. I think the best way to test is to put two accounts side by side on the same vps and the same broker with the same settings. Then make only one change to one of the accounts and compare the results after say a week. Continue to tweak each setting until the best results are found.

With this being said, If I want to 'split test' in this manner would I need to buy a second license?

I have running this EA on my vps with Thinkforex and <60 milliSeconds.
But it not work for me. Therefore I think, this EA is not good for me and the most peoples.
What the hell are the best parameters for this EA.
Peoples, where the EA runs good, not like to share the parameters.
I testet mutch parameters, but nothing works with good trades.

I learned, that its better to trade manually with a good strategie.
So I have a performance better 30%/Month, and I have the control.

I am not realized how MDP works. I dont know when and what this EA will do.

You did do most better thing. MDP is a useless bot. Also The FGB is useless....

Not unless you read through this entire forum. There is very important information in this forum that will help you make your decision. Not just the first half either....or the last half.....the entire forum. If you read the whole thing (getting close to 150 pages) you will understand what you are getting into with MDP.

Unfortunately your business model doesnt smell god.. I got told from a trader he sent you the money and didn't get the EA...

On MDP 1.2 (Euro Usd) I got 4 trades some time back. + 29 pips.
All default settings.

6 trades in the last hour. 5 wins, 1 loss. Total 60.5pips on live.

Account is up to 19%+ since october 6th on default settings



 

IBFX.....5 trades net +30.3 pips. default set.
