if you mean channeltrader pro no need anymore to close manual it hits full sl this morning. Realy fascinating how fast we get a full sl after the system is promoted and sold. Like always....

Well at least I can confirm I got that loss also so at least we can say my results match the vendors account.
Now, it would be rather stupid of him to sell a product that failed within its first week wouldnt it? What does that tell you? I honestly dont think this guy is stupid. The system will recover our losses. Fundamentals impacted upon that trade. It doesnt know whats about to be issued news wise, does it? LOL!

yes like it doesnt knew the news years ago since start. Revtrader pro is the best example. I also bought this ea because of the brilliant history. And now its only history. We will see if all those eas will recover or if they will fail now.
Last full sl on channeltrader was one year ago. So we shouldnt see any new full sl too soon. Otherwise the whole strategy isnt profitable anymore with a 200pips sl. R:R is too bad which such systems if they hit the sl too often. Thats what the sl told me :-)

He keeps introducing new EA's which he couldn't manage all of them at once. As a wise person he should sell one EA and work on it to be successful. After all we just want to earn money and not EA Library. This is kind of luring people with past performance and deceiving them completely.

I own all of them so I can say, I think he does an OK job of managing ALL of the EAs but I'm sorry but which of the other EAs except Rev Trader Pro was having a period of bad performance? We all know there was issues with Vortex in the beginning across different brokers. Doug went out of his way to put together a Trade Copier for us. Now, he is the first vendor I know to do this. Since he did this. We've all had the good and the bad trades as reported on myfxbook.
You had other people here vouch for that trading style on REV Trader Pro, people who admitted it works, but just needed optimizing. We even had some guy go to the trouble of reverse engineering the strategy so he could stick it on 20 pairs, admittedly it blew up because of overtrading IMHO but it was a strategy accepted by others as a working strategy.
So from what I see - I've seen updates from Doug on REV Trader Pro and I think its also seen a change in performance to + side again.
So I believe he does update his EAs and I believe they will continue to be profitable.
Noone in their right mind would release an EA for it to go tits up in a week. Think like a business person!
I think you're a disgruntled owner of Rev Trader pro but please don't try to tarnish the guys name in relation to his other products if you can clearly see, so far no issues and I am not the only one to say that. I have the losses and the profits alongside his accounts.

If you guys recall after i released Vortex it hit a STOP LOSS too, and since has recovered it all and profit.. unfortunately it's just bad timing, and bad luck. The situation in Greece spilled over and impacted that pair as well, which didn't help.

Hey guys. Rough first week with channel trader and vortex trader pro. Maybe my timing was bad but I'm confident in the strategy and I know they will make it up in spectacular fashion. The only thing that concerns me is that my trades were not exactly the same as the vendors. They were close. What could be the reason for this? I am using fx choice true ecn live account. Is there a delay or latency and that's why we don't get the exact same buy or sell price. Also I don't understand why the vendor and I are both trading 3 lots but today the vendor has a win of 72.46$ (2.9) pips and a loss of -44.54$ (1 pip) and I have a Loss of -111.00 and a loss of -45.00 for the same two trades. Why the discrepancy? Also paying -41.48 commission for every trade at 3 lots. Not sure fx choice was the best choice. Any advice?

It tells you the slippage when it opens a trade in the alert screen. Slippage is what causes the minor differences. Very normal.
The losses were because of commissions. Have you read anything on babypips? You sound new to forex.
