I've been trading for many years and currently trade the ES. My trades there last minutes to hours (occasionally). I am now practicing FX using longer time frames. I'd like to add currency trading to what I do today.

Price action and market structure. I use a top down analysis and trade the 1H and 15M charts primarily. If there is a trade that makes sense on the D or M then I'll take that too, but those are infrequent.

Is stock trading and forex trading different?

All financial markets have a unique personality. This is true of different FX pairs as well. I trade ES and CL futures and I have a different strategy for each. What works with CL does not work with ES and what works with ES is impossible with CL.

Is it Trump Tweet Market manipulation ?

This really isn't a "fair" question. Market manipulation implies that there is some wrong doing or something shady going on. If Trump had been shy and reserved his entire life and just started tweeting after he was in office then I think we should be suspicious. But he is who he is....
