I started my career as a commodity analyst. I concentrated on Oil and Gas, Base Metals and Precious Metals. I also took keen interest in agricultural commodities like Grains, Oilseeds and exotics. While in IL&FS, I also worked in the Corporate Risk Management team, where we structured instruments, to help clients hedge their price risk.

I have been invited as panelist in panel discussions organised my Indian commodity exchanges.

I have conducted training on Mechanics of FX options for NSE. I have trained professionals on commodity derivatives markets in India and World.

In my later years in IL&FS, I moved to institutional equity research to concentrate on listed companies engaged in the field of agrochemicals and inorganic chemicals in India. I advised institutional clients through my research recommendations.

As a prop trader I found great liking for trading options in the Indian equity markets. I focussed on trading GREEKS: GAMMA, THETA, VEGA, while optimizing delta on the portfolio. I traded volatility skews and volatility dispersion on options.

I worked as a prop trader concentrating on Indian equity markets and MCX commodity derivatives. I also executed pair trades amongst Nifty stocks, inter-index play, and between nifty and bank nifty and its constituents. I have developed algorithms and screener for taking directional bet on asset markets.

Currently, I am associated as a Partner with Kshitij Consultancy Services. I am going to focus on ways to expand the business of Forex advisory and Forex risk management, which holds significant potential. At the same time develop the Investment Management vertical through planning, marketing, management and client relationship management. Over time develop synergistic business areas for the organisation.
