Elon Musk's X.ai Set To Raise $1 Bln In Equity Offering

Elon Musk's artificial intelligence startup X.ai has filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to raise up to $1 billion in an equity offering. The minimum investment accepted from any outside investor is $2 million. According to the filing, the company has already raised $134.68 million from the sale of securities to four investors, with the first sale happening on November 29.
