if you use the Percentage settings, no matter what matrix they use to calculate the Heat Map, it shows the comparison of relative change for the pairs across the different time frames .... what is going up and what is going down

one way to learn MQL4 code > from MT4 terminal hit F4 which opens Editor then view Toolbox > code base ... double click a selection that draws your interest and view the code. do this for a while and you will learn about coding

open Navigator (Ctrl+N) you will see the indicator tree. you can call custom indicators from here. can not add to indictor/trend. if you Google < MQL4 BOOK > there is some information on getting started

open up your MT4 terminal, then open up your Metaquote Editor and look in the toolbox for the Code Base tab. double click an EA you find interesting and then search for one based on RSI .

The Donchian channel was the what the famed Turtle Trades used. if you google search you will most likely find. based on buying on higher hi and selling on lower lows. if you look at the mt4 codebase page you can find the indicator. shows the highest hi and the lowest low over a given period. say 50 periods. if the highest hi is broken by a higher hi you would buy. interestingly, the Stochastic oscillator will show the same thing. where the price point is in a given period between the highest hi and lowest low. thats one. i like to use it like a pivot point where if you are higher or crossing ...
