Guys, throwing another Q into the mix. My instance of TEA is insisting on a TP of 1.30210 on EUR/USD, but I read 1.3023 as the low for Feb.1 and I read support c. 10 pips above that. Anyone more technical than me (wouldn't be hard :) ) care to explain so I can grasp what it's doing? And if I've missed something obvious (or misread the charts), why doesn't it allow for a small margin and move short TPs to the upside slightly (longs to the downside) to take profit in larger/longer-running trades a little earlier than its prediction? I've had a few larger baskets 'boun...

paulrozza - thanks for the response, and sorry to hear you're stuck in the same position as those of us who missed the EUR/USD exit opp using the non-mirrored MT4 EA. It's 'interesting', to say the least :)To anyone who can provide experienced feedback: I'm running TEA on a UK spreadbetting MT4 platform, with broker-cited 'leverage' at 100:1, but the EA sees the account as a mini and 'lots' are set at .10 equivalent to 10p. Support told me (and I did ask) that the EA would equate currencies for deposits, so a c. GBP6k account would be seen as c. $10k. Af...

Yeah, me too spratrbo. Dunno about you, but that was my first experience of a stop with TEA.Can I ask all those of you who had EUR/USD baskets closed out by the EA, at what price was the exit (if you're happy to share that info)? The reason I ask is that I'm still trying to determine whether the EA was actively managing my trades this morning - my TP from yesterday's close was (and still is) 1.30210. Appreciate this is a bit arbitrary, but feedback would be useful and appreciated.Cheers.

Yeah, me too statman, but at least you're still in the game, as you say. I caught my account in the nick of time and did what I believe paulrozza did - bunged in some additional equity to shore it up. Hopefully there's now enough there to ride this to a sizeable reversal, if it comes in time...Picking up on chrissav, ravenlok and others: the EA seems to have done its job for the most part. Although some of us seem to still be exposed on EUR/USD, and many of us on Cable, I think there are some excellent points being made here and some good learning out of all this adversity, particu...

Damn!! Just arrived in Poland and got a connection to find that EUR/USD moved to within 5 pips of TP on all shorts this morning - back to huge DD and 100 pips adrift... Well done @paulrozza, btw - bet you're relieved :)The real issue is that I logged into the VPS and was met by an authentication dialogue, presumably due to a reboot ('though I've yet to confirm) - seems the much-vaunted 'auto login' didn't. Will be contacting support, but just checking: has anyone else on v1.89 had this happen (or have I misunderstood this feature)?

tradingshed - wish I could do the same, but aggregate positions are showing >£350 down on EUR/USD alone... When (if) it hits c. £100, I'd be tempted to bale also.Lowered my RL to 1 on all pairs, but just checked in and noticed a sell at a position size of 2.10 (!) on GBP/USD made by TEA at 17:03 GMT. Previous sell on this pair was sized at: 1.50 on 26/01 and 1.80 on 25/01, both of which were too rich for me, so I reduced my RL to 1 on 26/01. So, would appreciate any ideas on this... Dustin/Ivan et al... why is the EA insisting on spiralling up the lot size?? (NB: th...

Some pundits are saying 1.57 on cable... Personally, I'm expecting to have to ride this out for a while longer - don't know what everyone else thinks(?)On a related note: there have been a number of chances for the EA to snatch 60 or 70 pips from a live trade that's ranging between the profit target and entry, then re-enter at an appropriate point, but the pips have come and gone. On EUR/USD and GBP/USD just since opening yesterday, I count c. 200 pips missed (at £1/pip, or 1.0 'lot' on my spreadbetting account). Am I expecting too much of the EA?
